And since THC metabolites can stay in the body for 30 days, all these blood tests don't really test for how impaired it made someone while driving.

Many fights are caused by drunks. Not many caused by weed though, strangely. And even more strange, not many fights instigated by diazepines. Alcohol and diazepines work on the same receptor system, but ethanol has a unique ability to make people into the biggest assholes. Even coke and meth aren't as bad.
