People of /pol/! Meme magic is real!
I have noticed throughout the years funposting that a political personality or YouTuber gets more acceptable as a /pol/ topic the more memes he or she has. Take Stefan Molyneux for example. He has some presence on /pol/ but the threads about him were limited in discussion. But when "Not an argument" and "One dollar" meme came about then did these threads seem to blow up. As these memes were being posted, more people saw his videos. As more people saw his videos, more people accepted him as red pilled. As more people saw him as red pilled, the more threads are made by more than just the memers and shills.
Even memes meant to disrupt threads can be a positive thing. The meme "Not an argument" was originally used to drown out discussion and bump the thread to its limit originally. People repeated the meme for fun, even without having any real opinion on Stefan Molyneux. Eventually "Not an argument" and other related memes became a staple of general /pol/ culture. People became acquainted with Stefan Molyneux even if they never posted in one of his threads before. He gained more exposure than he would otherwise have had without the memes.
Conclusion: If you want something to get something or someone popular on /pol/ you need to create dank memes. Truly dank memes, mind you, are not forced. The creator of such dank memes only need to post a few times and let others post the dank meme. These dank memes must be fluid and non-exclusive. When should be able to use the dank memes in other topics and outside of /pol/ without needing to know the source of the meme or what it relates to.
