Free trade doesn't mean import/export imbalances. Free trade amongst first world nations isn't an issue. We don't have a problem with our NAFTA buddies to the north. The EU doesn't have a problem with western nations. The Commonwealth doesn't have trade issues. It's when we decide to subsidize te entire fucking world through trade and defense that we have issues.
