when we post on 4chan or other sites, are we turning our thoughts into commodities (products that have money value)? to be monetized by the site?

yep

If a company wants to pay g00k for our shit post then good for him. moots fucking gone and frankly we couldn't have hoped for a better owner than that clueless jap bastard. As long as this site keeps running I don't really care, to a point.
How can anyone make money off me posting 'burn all niggers, sandniggers and kikes at the stake' in every thread?

>not advocating for mass spic genocide

because there's a ton of /pol/-tards who read your comment, and their eye balls (their attention) are then sold to the advertisers.
all fucking niggers must fucking hang ;)

niggers, sandniggers and kikes are worse. but the spics can be next :^)

This also with money for lawyers gookmoot is in a much better position to protect the site.

There was some analytics company advertisement on a 404'd thread that did not sit well with me the other day. We should take note of advertisers as we could make them fuck off in less than a day easily. We, the users operate this shit hole. Not Hiro.

This
>4chan is actually run by some jap hustler from a dark apartment
it's still hard to grasp sometimes

Yes, pretty much every other site than 4chan collects data on what's posted by its users so ad companies can use that data to target different demographcis, or the data itself to be sold to whoever.
Also, they could literally sell those thoughts if they wanted to, since IIRC most websites like facebook and such legally own whatever is posted on their sites.
Your thiughts are being turned into commodities to be used to make products thst will ultimately be sold back to yourself.
