Donald Trump is great, but I'm not voting for him else he addresses climate change.
>>
>>74096636
why would he? i dont support trump
but if you actually believe that the 0.117% of greenhouse gasses that are man made CO2 dictate world temperature then youre fucking retarded
>>
I believe he's addressed it on multiple times already.
>>
The EPA and all other voices that's address "climate change" are all hypocritical. The EPA dumped millions of gallons of toxic water in a colorado river, Al Gore flies around on jets, emission standards lower fuel economy.
>>
>>74096636
according to the WHO 4 million children under the age of five die annually due to diseases caused by indoor smoke from fires fed by grass and feces they are forced to use due to environmental regulations :^)

moving industries from china to the US would be extremely good for the environment. China doesnt give a fuck what companies dump into their rivers and oceans and it's disgusting. When those companies move to the US they wont be able to do that any longer

Ah, but you see .005% are methane, which, adjusted for how much it hurts the climate, means the oil and gas industries are effectively responsible for 98% of all climate change.

Never mind the fresh water supplies. We just need to shut down industry and reduce the world's population to a "sustainable" level so you good goyim can throw off the chains of your old religion and believe in your new religion where you worship the earth and we are your new g-ds, heh, heh, heh.

Now give us all our -erm- "your" money back so we can take better care of it -erm- "you" for us -erm- you. That's it. It'll make your life easier and help the climate!

climate change is a huge marxist scam. Even the EPA chief has admitted it countless times.

None of the policies put in place by the eco-marxists will make any dent in c02 levels (they admit this openly). They are merely trying to destroy the fossil fuel economy.

This desu, it doesn't even matter whether the climate change we're experiencing is accelerated by humans or not. All that matters is that we continue to increase efficiency to the point where emissions and pollution are negligible. Not for the sake of the environment, but rather just to show that we can.

Interfering in their affairs and trying to speed up their technological and cultural development has only done more harm than good anyway, they need to sort their shit out themselves.

"He has accepted more than $1.2 million in money from the fossil-fuel industry over the last decade while failing to disclose that conflict of interest in most of his scientific papers. At least 11 papers he has published since 2008 omitted such a disclosure, and in at least eight of those cases, he appears to have violated ethical guidelines of the journals that published his work.

The documents show that Dr. Soon, in correspondence with his corporate funders, described many of his scientific papers as “deliverables” that he completed in exchange for their money. He used the same term to describe testimony he prepared for Congress."

Former U.S. Senator Timothy Wirth (D-CO), then representing the Clinton-Gore administration as U.S undersecretary of state for global issues, addressing the same Rio Climate Summit audience, agreed: “We have got to ride the global warming issue. Even if the theory of global warming is wrong, we will be doing the right thing in terms of economic policy and environmental policy.” (Wirth now heads the U.N. Foundation which lobbies for hundreds of billions of U.S. taxpayer dollars to help underdeveloped countries fight climate change.)

Also speaking at the Rio conference, Deputy Assistant of State Richard Benedick, said: “A global warming treaty [Kyoto] must be implemented even if there is no scientific evidence to back the [enhanced] greenhouse effect.”

In 1988, former Canadian Minister of the Environment, told editors and reporters of the Calgary Herald: “No matter if the science of global warming is all phony…climate change [provides] the greatest opportunity to bring about justice and equality in the world.”

In 1996, former Soviet Union President Mikhail Gorbachev emphasized the importance of using climate alarmism to advance socialist Marxist objectives: “The threat of environmental crisis will be the international disaster key to unlock the New World Order.”

IPCC official Ottmar Edenhofer, speaking in November 2010, advised that: “…one has to free oneself from the illusion that international climate policy is environmental policy. Instead, climate change policy is about how we redistribute de facto the world’s wealth…”

Ah yes, the endlessly repeated hockeystick graph. Tacking on high frequency data onto low frequency data. A statistical abomination. Daily measured CO2 tacked onto ice core air samples which have a temporal range of 70+ years. Put that CO2 hockey blade through a 70 year mean value smoother and it will disappear.

Now look at this high frequency CO2 data that goes back to the 19th century. Surprise! Nothing new about today's CO2 levels.

Source: Fig. 12 from Beck, Ernst-Georg. "180 years of atmospheric CO2 gas analysis by chemical methods." Energy & Environment 18.2 (2007): 259-282.

Never seen these data before, have you? And yet you warmists think the the UN IPCC is all about science, don't you?

You do understand that the error bars in radiative forcing estimates are huge; much more than difference between warming and cooling. And this data you graphed don't account for any possible negative feedback. Instead the CO2 "forcing" (a very poor term because it assumes that all global temperature influences are equivalent to surface energy fluxes; which is false) assumes positive feedback. Namely by increased water vapor in the upper troposphere.

That assumption is false. Graph related. This is why warmists never talk about it anymore.

Oh Noes! One scientist got paid $60K a year (after institutional overhead)! Meanwhile climate "scientists" get total funding in the $Billions. Pic related. Skeptic funding is 0.1% of "help us get $Billions for the U.N" funding.

And Dr. Soon has been vindicated; meanwhile the scumbag "journalists" who "exposed him" are shown to be scum.

Isn't it funny how NASA cherry picks research which supports there desire to get more funding? There are a number of papers which show strong solar changes. Pic related (magnify it to get the specific citations). As you can see the assertion that solar changes have been little-to-none is nothing but conjecture. Significant research suggests otherwise.
