Haven't you noticed? The internet is aggregate. Used to be a wide variety of webpages out there to visit and hang out on.
Now we're down to, what, a dozen? People are aggregating. Eventually 4chan and Reddit will merge, somehow. Either one will die and the users will get subsumed or they will literally get bought out.
The secret club bullshit died years ago. Everybody on the internet, especially reddit users, all know what 4chan and /pol/ is. If anyone really wants to come here they're going to do it anyway.
