I've met all types.
1. The gangster: Hip Hop/Rap, thrives on the gangbang stereotype, "fuck the police", sagging pants. About 50% of them are this type.
2. The basketball player: Walks like an orangutan. Brushes his hair with a square comb for 90% of his time. Disassociates himself from the low-urban gangsters, but associates with the "SQUAD" type. Is usually below average in courses, but gets scholarships for his sports-skill. Hangs out exclusively with the "SQUAD" and is hostile with the "gangsters" unless they accept him. About 20% of them are this type.
3. The swaglord : Typical mainstream pop artist. Fedoras/skinny pants/flashy glasses and shoes. Feminine, WK, mixes with the "mainstream" people. Has various groups of friends. Not interested in sport and his main interest is social media. The type that'll make vines, etc. About 20% are this type.
4. The hipster: His only group of friends are white. Half of the time they're gay. They love punk/trance/hipster music. Hipster glasses, shorts, shoes. They usually have dreads or funky hairstyles. Their interests are modern arts or cinema. Liberal, safe spaces, trigger warnings, etc. About 5% are this type.
5. The political activist: BLM/Black Panthers/Nation of Islam branches/WE WUZ KANGZ/da white man be da devil. About 2.5% are this type.
6. The religious: Raised heavily religious. Eventually turns to the Church and becomes a priest or something. Concerns himself with the community and religious affairs within it. Is usually decent morals but still at average intelligence for blacks. Mostly elderly. About 1.5% are this type.
7. The anime kid: Is fat, dresses bad, is reclusive, wants to learn Japanese and move to Japan, has mostly asian and weeabo friends, goes to Otakus, plays video games, works in a local video-game shop. Pretty much a black weeabo. Naruto is their favorite anime. About 0.9% are this type.
8. The educated: Almost non-existent. 0.1% are this type

The family that lives across the street from me is black. Haitian, to be precise.

My French professor in college was black. She was quite well spoken and fluent in English and French. She was mixed, though.

They usually work a 9 to 5 job. Feed their families, buy some hawaiian shirt and some sun glasses. They don't associate with any blacks other than other African immigrants. They keep to themselves and you don't hear much about them.
That's in the US though, since they're outnumbered by the African American. If it's like in Europe, where they're the majority of blacks, they build their own "safe zones" and commit crime like no other.

She is the political activist. She's a commie that advocates for the Worker's Party, cry for "muh reparations" and is pro-Islam (the kind that keep saying "Islam is the religion of peace").
On the other hand, the guy is a mix of educated and political activist.

Seeing one at a sporting event is like going to the zoo. You're guaranteed to see tons of them, so it doesn't really count.

I've met a couple who were okay on a social level, as in they spoke plainly and I was able to get along with just fine. That being said, every one I've met has been working at a low end job in their late 20s to early 30s, with no prospects of getting an education, usually had a kid in their late teens and is generally heading nowhere.
