With the exception of Polk and Van Buren, they were kind of the bullshit presidents. Didn't get a lot done, at least nothing that still have noticeable effects on the U.S.A. today, and they were all one-term (the best presidents tend to be two-term, as do some of the worst).
Polk is the exception. If it weren't for Polk, the Mexico and Canada might share a border that starts somewhere not too far west of the Mississippi River and continues all the way to the Pacific. Polk single-mindedly prosecuted the Mexican American War to obtain the Southwest and rattled the saber at Britain enough to get our northern border with Canada settled. It's a shame he's all but forgotten. I live in Chicago, and humorously enough, Polk Street runs right through the Mexican ghetto here.
Martin Van Buren was also a modestly important president, but he's really most interesting for being the only U.S. President to speak a language other than English as his first language (Dutch).
Leslie Lynch King Jr
He didn't ask for the job, but he stepped up to do when the nation needed a leader.
>>73975536
Trump will look real nice right next to Florida.
>I can see Mar-a-Lago from here!
