It's more likely than you think.
I can't place my finger on the exact moment it happened, but sometime around 5-10 years ago everything started to feel very off, very strange and different.
It feels this way more intensely in the past year or so, but if aliens came down and told me that the timeline had fractured at some point, I can honestly say I would be surprised to hear this, but not intensely surprised.
