Yes. I've met plenty of blacks through my academic career that were absolute gentlemen I enjoyed working and studying with. When I run across screaming, lipsmacking nogs in the wild with a baby on the hip and a Disney backpack, I wonder how they come from the same greater gene pool.
Nogs also tend to have a specific noise associated with them where as regular black people don't. I divide nog sounds into four common classes: clickers (who click or pop their tongues), shouters (random incoherent shouting noises), smackers (lip-smacking), and snorters (chronically snorting like they've got a cold and they're sucking up snot, except they're never snot-sucking and it sounds painful and dry).
My most hated group are the clickers. My study group and I had a sweet spot in the campus dining hall that we had to abandon due to a sudden influx of Chicago nogs (one of the worst subspecies of nogs) who were so noisy that it became difficult to work around them. They shouted more than they talked and were always belligerent whenever staff asked them to quiet down. They were led by a particular male clicker who used clicks to punctuate his statements. Before my group gave up hope that they would ever stop showing up (approximately a week of meetings) I made an informal analysis of the nog's speech patterns which I will summarize below.
