If we accept that god is what people claim god to be, and that its motivations are too complex to understand, what it essentially means is that everything is absolutely pointless. There's no point of testing us because God would already know the answer. There's no reason to experiment because God would already know the answer.
If we assume this is a big test it's clearly not a good test. It could have been a much more efficient and fair test. If a baby dies right after birth and it gets sent to heaven then the test is pointless. The baby didn't have to do anything, God already knew what the baby would grow up to be like. God knew that the baby would grow up to do good things or bad things.
To be a Christian you have to be a nihilist. You have to see life as entirely pointless.
