How do you explain most intelligent people want to remain in the EU ?

They get loads of bennies from the EU.
>>

>most intelligent people
oh jew
>>
They can afford to live away from the invading hordes
>>
Is it taking the pussy way out? Cause if it is...
>>
>>73880629

It benefits them. It fucks the rest of us though.

Scientists are extremely self centered when it comes down to it. They would support Mengele-style experiments if it helped win them a nobel prize.
>>
>>73880629
Because grant money. It's rather simple really.
Scientists need money to do research, EU provides massive grants.
No EU
No grants
>>
Because scientists thrive off government handouts. Otherwise no one would give a fuck about their research and they'd have to do actual jobs for a living.
>>
>Get loads of government funding from taxpayers
>Never have to go outside and see the state the country is in

I wonder why
>>
>>73880770
hello Stefan
>>
>>73880629
They get subsidised by it and aren't affected by it driving down wages for the poorest
>>
People really, really need to get over the meme that being intelligent or good in science = being right about everything.

Development of technology would stall without governments supporting the scientist. iPhone is full of tech made in government funded research institutions, universities and companies. A lot of the corporations are actually very conservative because of muh.. share holders.

Obviously they're aware of their hyper intelligence & in order to survive on through natural selection & simple math must weaken their DNA a fraction by the bending over for the semen of Allah

Might have something to do with people who espouse or hint at conservative beliefs being treated like monsters and essentially being blacklisted by others in their chosen profession.

There is a stereotype that most racists are southern trailer trash but is that because it's mostly accurate or is it because almost anyone with any shred of success and social standing knows public admission of racist beliefs would mean severe consequences for themselves and their family?

a) EU funding is a magical piggy bank that never runs out. Brexit would lower funding for at least a while, and these career academics would be out of a job. They're basically glorified freelancers living off the EU's teat.

b) They're part of an intellectual elite that supports the idea of the "smart people" ruling over everyone else. They can't imagine the populace actually having meaningful control over their own country.

>the most intelligent people

Just because they're proficient in a certain field involved with things you find hard to do doesn't mean they're smarter than everyone else. This is why they fuck up on the easiest errors like when on mcleans they talked about Jesus not existing, which is a really basic part of history. Also, ever thought they might be getting special funds?
>>
>>73880981
This. Merkel has a chemistry degree or something iirc
>>
>>73880629

Most scientists are part of the intelligentsia, they have a disdain for ordinary working men and women who they believe should be ruled by superior unaccountable members of the elite (i.e themselves).

The funding they EU gives them provides them a cushy life in academia, never having to grow up in the real world post university study. They don't see the struggle and impact of what EU immigration has done to parts of the country from their ivory towers and all expenses paid conference dinners.

If the work was that important private sector enterprise would pick up the research.
>>
>>73881663
No scientists really dont care about the political/racial/social implications of any of the shit that goes on in the world. As long as they get to run their experiments, learn more and invent more stuff the rest of the population can burn. It just so happens that liberals actually care about science while conservatives are busy telling them their research is fake.

This. Most scientists are fucking retarded hiveminded tards when it comes to political matters. They ve been in academia so long theyve absorbed every bit of leftist bullshit they possibly can

These peoples income largely comes from capital seized by governments and the EU.
>>
>>73882350
This guy knows. Scientists are more elitist than typical business tycoon or army general, because scientists completely withdraw from human relations and think they're above it.

Gee OP, that's a tough one.

I mean, I would too if I wasn't so sure it would be co-opted by jews. Too much of a process now, wod advsnce much faster if western scientists had Chinese ethics code and Western innovation

They learn objective truths and rarely ever think for themselves, why do you think science students have little to no common sense? They're also likely middle class and don't understand the effect immigration has on working class communities

Pretty sure my lecturer for plant biotechnology wants us out of the EU

EU GM laws are holding back research in the field

I study physics at uni and your average student is just as likely to be bluepilled as anyone else. The EU is much more generous with it's scientific funding than the UK government has been historically. The government wants to see fast returns on investments which a lot of scientific fields won't be able to produce.

me too, I actually think that on the whole STEM students (especially Physics students) are the most blue-pilled, pro-EU people out there. I know a lot of history students against the EU but not any STEM apart from myself.
>>
>>73883270

So what's the end goal here, turn it into an endless dick measuring contest of more science = better? That's reddit tier philosophy, brah

We need better people first and foremost. Without the man, the machine is nothing. Science has led to many positive things, but it has also led to many negative ones too.

In order to make the best use of technology, we need to make the best out of ourselves first.
>>
>>73880649
This, and it's fully understandable. Who in their right mind would want to remove their source of income?

Unfortunately, it removes the income from everyone else because your trade is dead.

Because they are financially profiting from it through Horizon2020 and FP7 Research funds and programs.

Source: I work as a researcher in FP7 projects.

It's nothing but their personal gain, don't be fooled. Scientists are ego-driven ideologists.
