Thoughts on Ted Cruz rekting this black NASA Chief?

The title claims he was "schooled". However, if you took the time to listen and understand what these people are saying in this video, you can see that Ted Cruz is not against NASA by any means. Why must people see it as either black and white; agreement or disagreement?

Also, if you listen to this and just vote for the one who "sounds right", you're thinking like a child.

Why should we care about what Rato has to say about anything?
>>

He is a senator. That is a powerful position. He has influence. He may not make a great President and he may be dishonest, but I shared his sentiments in this video.

because... Its up to us...... as americans.............to decide................ what we spend our pocket change on.

He did not get "schooled"
It was a productive conversation and Ted Cruz got the clarification he wanted.
>>
Honestly wish Ted Cruz was winning at this point. Trump becomes more of a liberal tranny loving faggot by the day. Ted Cruz was a globalist weasel sure, but at least he hates gays and blacks.

Ideally every American would be okay with a little bit of money going towards space. Right now there are bigger things at play. After all, there's plenty of support for increased funding for NASA but no real effort to change it. Not even the citizens care enough to protest loud enough to get anyone to care. Private space companies are going to triumph NASA and the government will be happier for it, but it's unfortunate that we're giving up on our own space agency.

Absolutely. That's the problem with some people watching C-SPAN, they have no idea how to interpret it. They certainly don't interpret it well in the linguistic sense, if they're missing key context clues as to whether or not it's an argument.
>>
Yea but he can't do anything with his hate of gays and blacks. He can however be a globalist and do globalist shit
>>

>sure he'd destroy the country and turn us into China's whore, but at least he'd be mean to people I don't like while he does
this is how the average Republican thinks kek, no wonder you guys are a laughing stock

Space travel is literally a waste of money. There is no (ZERO) benefits in going to other planets.

>b-but muh colonies
The battle cry of delusional manchildren who watched too much Star Trek in their youth. When we've achieved racial equality and solved all of our social problems, then we'll talk about nerdy shit like space travel.

mining asteroids would be a thousand times more preferable to fighting with china over the resources of third world shitholes.

Senators are completely different people in Congress. I listen to C-SPAN all the time, the campaign trail they have to dumb it down, in session they still have to dumb it down for whoever they are talking to. It is great.

>Space travel is literally a waste of money. There is no (ZERO) benefits in going to other planets.

There are numerous benefits to understanding the very world we live in, and there are even benefits with just the attempt. How many technological innovations have been a result of space exploration attempts? Not that this is the main goal, but it is certainly one you might care about if you care about iPhones and space pens more than you do about the study of life on Earth, or other planets in the solar system.

>The battle cry of delusional manchildren who watched too much Star Trek in their youth. When we've achieved racial equality and solved all of our social problems, then we'll talk about nerdy shit like space travel.

No. We don't normally think like this and suggesting that we would selectively do it with space exploration leads me to believe that you just want the entire continent of Africa to hold us back. We can't hold this notion that we are responsible for every community and family on the planet. We can do our best to improve, but we can't wait for that to happen in order to do other equally beneficial endeavors. It's common sense.

With current technolgoy, i can agree. Its just too expensive and it doesn't pay. Perhaps in 100 years it might pay to have some space-experiment, but right now, there are no fruits in such a sowing.
>>
>>73875081
We have to get there gradually. You can't hold back the reins of NASA and then complain it's not going fast enough. The pace does seem very slow, but it does pay in other ways. Private space companies might make it more profitable.

The funding of NASA really brings into question as to whether humans care about curiosity enough to spend a small percentage of their tax money on it. What we've seen is that, while they're unaware of the more wasteful things their money is going towards, they will happily pretend they care when it comes to space exploration.

>racial equality

Yes we should totally take care of shaniqua and her 5 kids instead of creating better civs on other planets.
>>
Trump will liberate Ted and help him break free from the globalists.
>>
>>73873569
Amazing how everyone missed his point entirely.

If we can't even get our shit together on this planet, how the fuck will we spread out to other planets? All that would happen is new interplanetary war.

People need to stop killing each other over trivial shit is what he's saying.
>>
>>73875674
People will always kill over trivial shit. At least on another planet we could start over without niggers. We could build a Utopia on another planet and let Earth die.

Pretty sure the elite are already following through with this plan in secret though...

As some blogger pointed out the other day, the most excruciating thing about Cruz is that he always speaks as if he is delivering the Gettysburg address, no matter what comment he is making.

Probably some shit he picked up from fundamentalist meetings.
