Thanks for the link, though the information it gives is a bit contradictory; in the article itself says that Portugal was one of the first to use helicopters, while the caption says it was the first, the former obviously being the truth. It was not until Vietnam that they were implemented in a truly meaningful way.
That being said, I really appreciate you posting this. I've been reading about the Colonial War lately, and I have been genuinely impressed by how much ass-kicking the Portuguese overseas army did. They restructured their army to fight guerilla wars in territories scattered across Africa and won most of those wars fairly handily with some pretty random equipment, all while managing to increase the literacy rate and economic growth back home. Hats off to you.
