I don't understand either. I know many Indian immigrants who go to my college and some show me pictures and tell me about back home, and they seem to be filthy rich back in their home country. Their house was like a mansion, with servants and everything. Yet they choose to immigrate here and live a basic middle class life.

My wife came to Denmark 10 years ago, learned the language and got a danish education. She now earns approx 400.000 dkk = 42K USD. a year.
Now, she has a family in ukraine, every month she send 5000 dkk to her mom, for that money her mom can live a comfortable live.

When people say "better life", I think loving families, status within the community, real life long friendships, watching as the things around you grow as you contribute to it.... Instead they come here and work unfulfilling jobs for shit they don't need.
I know there's a ton of poverty in third world countries.... But even that's just a minority percentage of them.
A fairly decent house, family/friends, community and food on the table is all a person needs to be happy and make great things happen.

Probably. What makes being a delivery boy such a bad gig? Would you rather sit in an office for 12 hours a day for the rest of your life? You have to weigh how easy/ stressful your job is versus the money you get out of it. I was in military intelligence, working with NSA. My exwife decided to continue working with NSA as a civilian, and makes a shit ton of money and hates her life. I barely do shit and basically live the NEET life. I am much happier.

Mate crime and disease in india is terrible. Unless you're very smart or have connections with officials you are going to be dirt poor shoeless unemployed urchin. There's lots of videos of people walking FPV through different cities in India for 1-2 hours. It's fucking miserable how poor they are and how bad their tiny apartment houses built like 150 years ago and crammed together. They live like rats, vast majority of them, and the wealthy people build massive walls and hire security because they are afraid of the 800-900 million poor starving masses who will turn on them when it gets worse enough to risk your life.
