Maybe. But they may still be willing to work somewhat, which can still lower the wages of everyone (even if they end up keeping their jobs) due to a labor oversupply.

That's public spending. Everyone pays for that. But some people can end up making more money anyway if the wages are lower (at the expanse of tax payers). Also people on social security probably. Their pay outs may be independent of those other problems.
