Mushrooms were the most extreme. They grow in a field near where I live. Before I had kids and a wife, I would pick them with ease. The thing about mushrooms is that the dose is very difficult to quantify. My maximum was 60 mushrooms, boiled up into a disgusting tea; the taste was repulsive. I tripped my head off. Very severe; I can't explain it. Also there are many types of mushroom. Some are edible and tasty, some are poisonous and will kill you. I can tell the difference. My grandfather taught me.
The tasty edible mushrooms tend to be quite large and like trees. The ones that will fry your mind are a bit tricky to detect. They like sheep poo and higher ground. And grass.I can walk across a field and find them with ease.
