True story though. Had to take my girlfriend into the ER since she has been bleeding about 4+ times the total volume of her uterus in blood over the past week, with no sign of slowdown. She was beginning to feel lightheaded and woozy so we had to make sure she didn't need a transfusion or something.
But yeah, had to spend 9 hours there. They wouldn't tell us why (of course).
I'm just glad I wasn't the woman in front of us in line. She was grotesquely obese and vomiting loudly every hour or less. Really must of sucked to be her, stuck there for 9 hours.

Not entirely, there's still copays for stuff albeit they are very cheap compared to private insurance copays. It's a common misconception that it's all covered by dah gubment for the majority of people, but maybe they will cover even the cheap af copays if you're in some extraordinarily low income bracket, a minority, a woman with kids and disabled.
