A (clearly not CIA guy) from the US Embassy called André Goodfriend kept criticizing the gov, and helped anti-government protests, visited them, did all kind of outrageous stuff. The guy came under increasing pressure from Washington to make some progress and they even ended up banning some government official from the US. All he could achieve was that our leader of the tax office resigned. In the end apart from a few thousand libcucks no one gave a shit, and Goodfriend became so hated by most Hungarians they had to recall him and send an actual ambassador who toned down on the hostile rhetoric.
