apparently /pol has turned into a secondary /b
why are all these fucktards ruining a
brilliant open forum for debate?
>>
>>73554853
At least it's not like /r9k/ which actually has become /b/ 2.0
>>
Are you talking about shills or Trump supports shut down anyone that disagrees with them?
>>
>>73554853

No one is being paid to shill for Hillary by the way. It's a Republican-funded lie and a pathetic attempt to smear her campaign.
>>
>>73554982
basically the entire board seems full of bait,
whether it be political or useless.
>>
>>73554952
actually it's becoming a mixture of all 3.

>Women hate and anti marriage threads >>>/r9k/

>roll threads, gore, rekt threads
>>>/b/
>>
>>73555220
4chan is being diluted....
We need to save it.
>>
>>73555296
This happens every election cycle.

I blame all the Trump tourist.
I really wish they would get their own board.

No. OP here>>73554853 is right.
Recently we had a proliferation of threads opened by OPs that do not provide background info and who basically do everything to violate the posting rules by asking questions like:
>redpill me on this/that
>does /pol/ approves of this?
>is this Jewish?
>etc.

I try to report threads when I can, but I see that since new janitors applications have started, everything has become slack, etc.

It is easily to be banned for bullshit (e.g. once I got banned for two days for mentioning R e d d i t in my post). I hope this time it won't earn me a ban just using the word.

However, while well-meaning and contributing posters like me are being banned or suffering disincentives to share, other zillions of shitposters and bots are free to roam the place.

This thing must end, but I do not know how to make change happen.
>>
>>73555528
i.e. this shit...
>>
Too many shills and bait threads are ruining this board, we need new updated rules and better mods that will actually ban these fuckers.
>>
>>73555150
Well the board by nature has a large amount of people that want to see that they said something that was noticed. The whole bases of baiting isn't about pissing people off, it's about feeling important and feeling a type of human interaction (Most bait is confrontation) they rarely if ever get to experience.

That being said, /pol/ has a set of hive mind tendencies that are easier to exploit then, say /o/. it's easier to know what will get a large response on /pol/ while on /o/ no one really gets mad since no one really knows what makes people mad there.
>>73555528
I would think a crack down of shit posting would be helpful, you can't scare off trolls on 4chan, but you can make it so it's not easy for them. /pol/ is a containment board for politics and most baiters only main here for attention, most have other boards they surf for reaction that have less strict rules at certain time,s (like /v/ at night you'll find porn threads lasting hours)

Basically I don' think we can rid our self of trolls, we can only direct them to a board of less resistance. /pol/, as you see is one of those boards.

Because I'm a leftist whose main purpose is to sow discord, doubt, & discontent; and, of course, to make "cuck" a meme in order to embarrass your sorry racist movement into oblivion.
>>

How was Surovell's campaign, faggot?
>>
They know shitposting is our weakness as well as our strength. Overwhelm the board with /b/-tier threads is easier than any serious on-topic trolling.
>>
>>73554853
the swarms who went to /b/ in the last years are casual fags that just want to laugh.
after they ruined /b/ with uber excessive shitposting, they saw humor on /pol/ and came here.

I tried to start a thread last night about Ben Rhodes and the White House echo chambers last night. Slid to the back with only like 3 replies.
>>
>>73554853

>he just realizes this now

This place has been /b/ 2.0 since the 2012 election. It REALLY went to shit with the dorner event and tray von as well.
>>
>>73554853
>turned into
guess you weren't around for the first few iterations of /pol/, /news/. it's pretty tame compared to those days.
>>
how new are you? this board has been consistently terrible and full of bait threads for a long time now

The gay agenda will always attempt to stifle true debates. Mostly because homosexuality is a Jewish lie to corrupt the youth

/pol/ is no longer a 18+ board

Because their beliefs can't stand up to open debate.

thanks, they tried to go to /fit/ too because they saw funny lifting memes. /fit/ has insanely better mods than we do though. sucks. I used to lurk in great threads discussing history, or socialism vs capitalism, etc.

Shite minds discuss people,
Cultured minds discuss events,
Brilliant minds discuss ideas.

Scroll through the front page of /pol/ and just look at most of the topics now a days.

>Recently we had a proliferation of threads opened by OPs that do not provide background info and who basically do everything to violate the posting rules
Recently on a cosmic scale, I suppose.
>>
All the bait threads where OP doesn't respond full of Canadian and American flags.

Cripple chan is looking far better than half chan lately.
>>
>>73556602
Frogposting is down about 30%. That's pretty good, for those guys.
