>>73536072
The original animated Cinderella.
>>73536072
I just want a movie that isn't aimed at manchildren
>>73536304
without going french obviously
>>73536072
Good for your Children as a counter to all the pro-immigration propaganda they're fed in school today
>Anti migrant
>Pro-natural order
>>73536072
>>73536304
go watch Andrei Rublev anon
Be patient, and you wont be disappointed
>>73536304
It's because most modern filmmakers are just rich manchildren who got the job from nepotism
>>73536072
Bridge over the River Kwai is based as fuck.
I'm trying to think of another red pilled movie...
Hmmm....
THEY WERE SOLDIERS.
>>73537468
Actually anything by Mel Gibson come to think of it.
>>73537345
This movie was great.
>>73537468
WE WUZ SOLDIERS
>>73536072
All quiet on the western front
>>73536072
Nothing to do with politics.
>>73536072
The Time That Remains
Someone here recommended I watch pic related last night. I barely got through it. One-hour wedding scene, followed by 20 minutes of action, followed by nearly two hours of them trying to readjust to society.
I'll never come to /pol/ for movie advice again.
Apparently the new Angry Birds movie is redpilled as fuck. Haven't seen it but apparently it's an allegory for the fickifickies in Europe
>>73537530
>>73537558
>>73537592
Name of the Rose.
>>73537743
Don't do it.
Cross of Iron is great
>>73537468

>inb4 hurrr air cav sux i wuz an 11b queen of battle *sucks a dick*
>>73536072
>>73538163
Unwatchable desu unless you have a stomach of iron or are a psychopath.
>>73537930
Lawrence of Arabia is #1 war film but I'll assume OP has seen
>>73538163
>nip cinema
>>>r/movies
Fag
Zulu & Zulu Dawn
The Man who would be King
>>73537246
I was patient but was kind of disappointment.
My assumption is that the dialogue loses various references and meaning through translation.
But the Finnish invasion was good.
>>73538294
I disagree.
Greatest epic film of all time, but certainly not the best war film. Lawrence of Arabia's cinematography is unmatched even to this day, the title sequence alone is enough cinematographic eye candy to last you a few weeks.
>>73536072
The man who would be king
Sean Connery and that English bastard against the cockroaches
>>73537784
That's an amazing movie and your taste is shit. Get out.
>>73537783
Really good movie
>>73539136
What part was amazing? The two Russian roulette scenes or the two and a half hours of NOTHING?
>>73538846
Apocalypse now is in my opinion a better movie with at least equal cinematography
The shots are not as epic in scale but they are very unique and the movie wins my award for greatest war movie of all time and greatest movie of all time. I can see why others pick movies such as Lawrence of Arabia, the Godfather, as their favorite movies and I respect their choice. They are extremely good movies and I love them. There's just something so chaotic about apocalypse now that makes me love it.
The Cincinnati Kid is pretty good too. All of Steve McQueen's movies are based.
>>73539258
Beat me to it
>>73539477
>Coppola cinematography
No thanks.
Only film that was shot perfectly from him was The Conversation.
>>73539477
>Apocalypse Now
I've been on a war movie kick lately. Watched this just a few days ago. Greatest movie I think I've ever seen. Dr. Strangelove was also really great, but in a different way.
>>73537784
Its a critically acclaimed movie bud, its not like /pol/ is the only place that it would be recommended
/pol/ recommended 'falling down' and I'm glad I watched it, it's pretty funny.
>>73540078
Watch paths of Glory, The Dirty Dozen, and From Here to Eternity
>>73540994
Adding them to my list, thanks.
>>73539258
Love the theme for this
>>73539889
I don't know how you can say this. Vittorio Storaro is a master. On top of the movie being visually beautiful, the cinematography tells the story as well. The scenes get darker and darker as you get deeper into the movie. The lighting on colonel Kurtz really adds to his character.

I love war movies. Have you seen full Metal Jacket? Many people only like it for the first half but the whole first half is to contrast with the second half and the movie is actually pretty deep. I also heard good things about siege of firebase Gloria and hamburger hill but they are a lot different and more centered around fighting than full Metal Jacket, Dr. Strangelove, and apocalypse now.
