Well the fire itself is still burning but the flame fronts are mostly out innawoods now, meaning the city itself is relatively safe (govt officials and media got a short tour today).

We've had 30 degree weather in may, which is pretty abnormal, and we've had maybe like half a days worth of a light sprinkle of rain in the last month. I love how all the rig pigs seem to think they're professional fire fighters capable of predicting the exact trajectory of a fire weeks before there is even a fire to begin with.
Also they already have enough supplies they've just been having issues getting people to actually register on the red cross site and there isn't exactly a supply chain setup for things like this. I'm pretty sure $60mil is more than enough to keep 80k people alive for a couple weeks. How much are you fucking eating and drinking that you've depleted the red cross's budget?
They've said it's 3-4 weeks before cleanup so all the newfies can go hangout in fort mac bulldozing shit all day long and get back to their menial labour with no future prospects pretty soon now. Then they can begin to rebuild and once again ignore building codes and once ignore the fact that they're technically in an extreme fire hazard zone and once again neglect to install proper fire protection and then we can once again watch it burn down a few years later.
