Choose wisely is all I can tell you.
You will be treated like shit in the Austrian Army during the 6 months.
You will lose weight and not get stronger. Your stamina will improve though because you will be doing a lot of running.
You will have to deal with a lot of dumbfucks who didn't go to high school. I assume you are smart judging from your posts, the Grundwehrdienst will not be intellectually stimulating for you.
HOWEVER
If you really did your research about it and you already know that it will be tough. And also if you are not doing it just to get over it faster (6 month Service) compared to the Civil Service, then do the following:
If you finished high school with Matura, you are eligible for EF (ein Jahr freiwillig).
There you will spend a year at the army and the amount of Cash you reveice will be tripled. (I think 1000 Euro per month instead of ~300)
You will have a much better Training there and also get to know more military weapons and units.
You will also be promoted to Sergeant after one year (Wachtmeister)
After 6 months regular Service you would just become a Private (Rekrut)

Also use this one year to visit some Colleges
You can go to "Tag der offenen Türe" and ask your unit if they give you a day off during your visit there.
They will give you that time off if the unit doesnt have any obligations.
You can use that one year to save up a lot of money, don't spend it on hookers.

The running wont be a proble, I am a very good runner (8km in 36 minutes).

What high school Form did you finish?
If you are a good Runner then you won't have any major difficulties.
Make sure you stay under the radar at your first month, don't be too noisy. Make some friends quietly which are in your group.
Do what you are told very fast and keep your mouth shut.
This way you will be just golden and earn the respect of your peers/instructors.
By Elite forces I assume you mean Jagdkommndo?
If you are Interested in that route, why not. It depends on other stuff however because in the admission program they will cut your sleep, let you go through long periods of Hunger and cold, long marches with heavy backpack etc.
They put a lot of psychological and physical trauma on you.
However, always keep in mind why they are doing this. Take nothing Personal. The reason why they do it is to emulate real battle scenarios where you have to be prepared to deal with shit like that so you don't get killed by Abu Hajaar and his friends who had a tougher Instructor than you, but will survive because of it.
Only 20% iirc make it into the Elite forces.

The cool thing is, after the EF year, if you are eligible, you can go study at the Military Academy in Vienna and start an Officer route.
There you will have a more "comfy" Job in a leading Position and also deal with more educated people.
Currently, they are not looking as much for officers though because we already have a lot in our army.
But you can look it up and see if you like it.
Because of the Budget cuts, I heard that people have trouble getting promoted because our military spending goes to making all the Manuals gender neutral instead of buying ammo for units to practice shooting.

If you have normal eyesight (without wearing glasses or contacts) you can also try the career of Justizwachebeamter, where you work in Court rooms and Court prisons.

I could always study justice or biology, I really like these two field but my main focus is on the military.
I will also look into that but Jagdkommando will propably be my main focus.

There is no height requirements anymore for Police forces, you'd be fine.
Law and biology are completely different studies.
If you decide to go for College, I strongly recommend that you pick both and just see which one you like the most.
Also look at the career prospects for both groups. A friend of mine studies biology but he will have to get at least a Masters degree in it to be employable.
Law is highly competitive in Austria and also requires you to study 5 years including the final State exam.
There are some really good career choices though such as "Diplomrechtspfleger", where you work and learn 3 years for that Position and you assist the judge in smaller local cases which you can deal with yourself.
The pay is also nice, I think there currently are about 600 such Rechtspfleger in Austria. It will give you more practical stuff and you will have a job way faster compared to law school. It is a prestigious Beamten Job in Austria.

They can draft you up until you are 30 years old.
You can come back when you are 31 years old then they can't draft you anymore.
Your employers will ask you though if you finished conscription because it can have adverse Effects on your career if you say that you couldn't do it out of health reasons.
