turkish army doesn't directly share pictures(although you can find a lot of dead pkk members online) and i doubt that they would lie about this as i have not seem them lie about battle reports yet
a previous report on this by non-military sources claimed 103 killed for example. the army also doesn't claim kills on most of the air-raids and artillery operations over the border with no turkish ground elements in support, only media does
in that same report it was said that they have been preparing for this move for 10 days and were in co-operation with russia, usa and rebel elements on the ground. they conducted the operation because of the artillery attacks by isis on the city of kilis
>>73483492
>turkish army is the most honest, i promise
if you say so...
Is the entire thing worth watching? Didn't get to see it live. I just like to watch the female units. Amazing how they can make female soldiers look both pretty and somewhat martial if they don't have fags designing the uniforms, huh?
Any videos of the small parade that Russia hosted at Hmeimim AB yet?
>>73483492
Thanks for the reply.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but all the sources citing casualty numbers are Turkish (or pro Turkish) be it gov or otherwise.
Again, correct me if I'm wrong but we have no actual physical evidence that
1. the raid happened
2. casualty numbers are as high as reported.
Now I have no doubt that the raid happened because that's too big of a lie and with no gain. Plus ISIS would have already came out with a statement saying it never happened.
As for the casualty numbers, I have a hard time believing large casualty numbers by any faction without actual evidence, and we have none.
Turkish military did release vids taken in air raids by planes and helicopters in the past, quite regularity actually when the campaign began.
Our mini parade in Hmeimim, as promised.

>Correct me if I'm wrong, but all the sources citing casualty numbers are Turkish (or pro Turkish) be it gov or otherwise.
correct, but as i have said there is a huge difference in turkish army sources and news outlets in turkey. so far i have seen the news lie nearly about everything and never seen the army lie
so you can believe it or not believe it, there is no physical evidence being shared so far by the army
i guess we will see if they did truly destroy some equipment by waiting to see if kilis is bombarded again
the report in the media i saw said that 15-20 special forces members crossed into syria to destroy the equipment with artillery and air support
if its true then turkish army has started to take action in syria against isis directly instead of only artillery, which is good no?
>Turkish military did release vids taken in air raids
yeah but i haven't seem them (officially) release any dead pictures of terrorists, unofficially some soldiers have done so though

Funny thing: right when Russia celebrates Victory Day, an American Cavalry Battalion parades in the centre of Chisinau, Moldova's capital city.
The Battalion is there in order to take part in a multinational military exercise between American, Romanian, Moldavian and Ukrainian troops.
A protest against the presence of the American troops was supposed to be held in the centre of Chisinau, but it did not gather enough supporters. Most of the people that came to see the Americans were actually pro-americans, bringing their kids alongside them so that they can see my hur dur american power.
Despite the fact that the Government at the moment is currently controlled by pro-russians or oligarchs, most of the people from Moldova are anti-Nato and anti-Russian. Why? Because all of the politicians, despite their political background (pro-EU or pro-RU), stole everything from that country, and the people are mad at everyone.
Also, Stefan the Great was actually one of our basest rulers of all time. The amount of turk blood he spilled is incredible, that and the fact that the fucker actually built a church for every win against the ottomans (33 churches built overall during his reign).
>>73491589
The picture was from a story about some protest over NATO forces trying to insert themselves in Moldova's V-day. It kinda fits with the failed snack bar since in the end the NATO guys withdrew from the area and didn't participate.

>The picture was from a story about some protest over NATO forces trying to insert themselves in Moldova's V-day. It kinda fits with the failed snack bar since in the end the NATO guys withdrew from the area and didn't participate.
They did participate, bro. They had their equipment and military vehicles in the centre of Chisinau the whole day, they might still have them at this hour.
A protest was supposed to be held right beside the American forces, but few people gathered and so it was cancelled.
There was a funny part at some point: a ww2 veteran, fully dressed in his soviet military equipment, came to see the Americans. He looked at the cars / tanks / vehicles, he talked a bit with some of the officers and then he left.

That's because, apart from Stefan the Great, moldovians can't cling to any other historical leader in order to tell the world how awesome they fucking are.
That's why they always talk about Stefan, that's why they put his face everywhere. They don't have any other political / historical figure to praise.
That's what happens when you try to push for the "moldovians are not romanians" meme over and over again. They will not use most than half of their history because that part relates with the romanians, and the part that they use, they call them moldavians as if they fucking developed by themselves for hundreds of years.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W7I92r9GqUw
why can't we make something like this for assad
The fact:
Altay is better than armata
Iraq doesn't seem to be as talked about in /sg/ which I can understand because its not /ig/ but the Iraqis really have made some huge gains against ISIS in the past year.
I think it will help Assad and the SAA/allied forces. In the next 12 months I think its likely that we will see all or almost all of Iraq's border with Syria returned to the control of Iraqi forces with ISIS either being completely wiped out or being holed up and under siege in a few remaining cities.
At that point it its also likely the Kurds/SAA will have closed the currently small gap between the eastern half of the Kurdish territories in NE Aleppo and SAA-held Aleppo. When the route from both Turkey and Iraq is closed ISIS will be fucked. They are already running out of money and are recruiting at a lower rate then their losses. As the route to Turkey and Iraq are closed more and more with each money it will get worse and worse and will make things easier for the SAA.

Okey i'l try to rephrase.
Its kinda funny to look how banana countries that never produced shit on its own like Ukraine with 90% russian gear or Turkey with 90% american and european gear are trying to make a new generation tanks on its own.
I mean look at Altai, it doesnt have an auto loader, it doesnt have an unmaned tower.
And its going into service in 2018, so your tank will be newer than Armata but worser than Armata.

Russia and the United States issued a joint statement on Monday, in which the two sides called on all states to prevent terrorists in Syria from receiving support.
In the statement, Russia and the US stated that they will take steps to pinpoint the areas under the control of ISIS and Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist organizations in Syria.
The two sides affirmed their support for the cessation of hostilities agreement in Syria and for bolstering the efforts to reach a political solution via the UN-sponsored Geneva talks.

But you are wrong
The automatic ballistic durable ultimate loader, or short Abdul, is a great loader system. Sometimes it shuts down sure, but nothing a kick from the commander can't fix. And if it's broken you can replace it really fast.

Into Music, songs by composer Alexandrov "Holy War", on the Red Square enter the state flag of the Russian Federation and the LEGENDARY VICTORY BANNER. Banner group of military battalion honor guard of the 154th detached commandant Transfiguration regiment passes near the parade line army division, tribunes with veterans and guests of honor. '71 Ago, during the battle for Berlin, the soldiers of the 150th Division Idritsa sergeant Mikhail Yegorov and junior sergeant Militon Kantariya hoisted the flag over the defeated Reichstag. Since then, this "attack flag" - is a VICTORY BANNER.

[ON IRAN]
One of President Obama’s top national security advisers led journalists to believe a misleading timeline of U.S. negotiations with Iran over a nuclear agreement and relied on inexperienced reporters to create an “echo chamber” that helped sway public opinion to seal the deal, according to a lengthy magazine profile.
Ben Rhodes, the deputy national security adviser for strategic communications, told the New York Times magazine that he helped promote a “narrative” that the administration started negotiations with Iran after the supposedly moderate Hassan Rouhani was elected president in 2013. In fact, the administration’s negotiations actually began earlier, with the country’s powerful Islamic faction, and the framework for an agreement was hammered out before Rouhani’s election.
[ON INT'L PRESS]
Rhodes, 38, said in the article that it was easy to shape a favorable impression of the proposed agreement because of the inexperience of many of those covering the issue.
“All these newspapers used to have foreign bureaus,” he said. “Now they don’t. They call us to explain to them what’s happening in Moscow and Cairo. Most of the outlets are reporting on world events from Washington. The average reporter we talk to is 27 years old, and their only reporting experience consists of being around political campaigns. That’s a sea change. They literally know nothing.”

>They call us to explain to them what’s happening in Moscow and Cairo. Most of the outlets are reporting on world events from Washington.
Of course this may be no surprise to us as we see European newspapers directly being an echo chamber for USA's Foreign Ministry for quite a while already, but it's nice to hear it from them.

It kinda of disgusting that this is news.
Both for the fact it happens and the fact it is news when it has been happening for years.
Normie checklist for "Perfectly acceptable" Media:
>governments directly contributing to non-state news organizations
>people in positions of power in news organizations being members of lobbying groups
>shilling on social media to push the position of a politician, government, or company
>reporting on the one sided shilling as legitimate public feelings about a story and that the feelings of these "totally legitimate" people somehow matter
>media empires that filter the empires position through multiple outlets to try and seem impartial
>news organizations acting like bloggers reposting reposts from another organization which was reposting information that is entirely fictional to begin with
>reporting that others are reporting on things
>journalists being good friends with politicians and trying to defend them while also reporting on them
>journalist and organizations who trust politicians
>framing perception with half truths in order to push an agenda
>not reporting on important events but still reporting on frivolous crap
>sensationalism
>the 24 hour news stream that is 90% filler
I remember having conversations with this old German man who lived through soviet occupation. He was against everyone's imperialism and had nothing but hatred for mass media, but especially mass media in the cold war era (which he claims never ended) as among the usual problems it had such a painfully obvious double standard. He put it something like: "Its a sad state of affairs when you can speak of an objective and documented fact and get told you don't know what you are talking about".
He also thought the idea of a German was somewhat humorous given the variation among the Germanic peoples: "One can't even understand what those people from [I forget what region he said] are saying when they supposedly speak the same language as you".
