Adios, Rato.
Don't have a pic on me but I'm (6, 6)
Feel the Bern
>>73437387
>I have to be in favor of him because a online test says it
Can somebody redpill me on controlled economy's, I feel they're needed with China undercutting everyone
>>73439182
its good for some businesses but is bad for consumers. Don't forget also that a lot of businesses depend on imports also so its not always good for businesses
>>73437692
I never said anything about you supporting him.
>>73439424
I'm thinking mainly of britains steel industry, it has all but collapsed due to cheap imports.
We can't compete with China as they save money on health and safety/ workers wages and as such our industry is failing.
Portectionism to me sounds like the answer but economics is not something I'm too confident with
>>73433778
Same.
>>73439655
Ah i see. Sorry I misunderstood your post.
>>73439744
if your industry needs subsidies to be able to compete and make a profit then you basically pay a portion of that profit, instead you could import the cheap steel from China and make factories that use steel.
When China becomes richer from their cheap exports their welfare and wages will also go up and so are their costs, so eventually you will be able to compete with them again if your industry is actually viable
I like these threads mostly for the discussion of ideology
1/3
>>73439182
I mean, China's pretty much state capitalism/the purest form of Crony Capitalism that you can find.
Look it up, they have private enterprise but they just make heavy deals with certain favored corporations and the like.
I gave this test to my 16 year old niece and here's her result.
How do I fix this?
>>73440450
I see what you're saying, but will China really increase their welfare and wages? They seem to have little value for human life and with such a large peasant population positions are easily filled.
If Britiain protected its manufacturing industries, Steel, Ship building, textiles and such, then the goods may be more expensive but we would have higher employment, the lower class would once again become the working class and social welfare would be reduced. More jobs, less taxes would surely offset the costs of cheap imports.
>>73440950
I actually did a little experiment where I gave about 100 uneducated in politics elders this test.
They scored all about the same economically with slightly more authoritarianism.
>>73440656
>fundamentalist
>reactionary
>>73440950
Teach her about free market.
>>73434911
You are an idiot. Authoritarian Left means you are an SJW.
Now this looks like a job for me
So everybody just follow me
'Cause we need a little controversy
'Cause it'd feel so empty without me
To help you understand your result
>>73441512
>Mass immigration is great because it means cheap worker
t. libertarians
9 years of 4chan and a year of steady /pol/ and I still get this. Huh.
>>73441685
Apparently in this test believing in something means you want the government to enforce it. I guess that's what happens when Labour party manchildren write the test. I'm actually pretty isolationist.
>>73441842
It says you are less authoritarian than a centrist senpai.
>>73441732
Because you're fucking retarded
>>73441842
http://politicaltest.net/en
Try this test. It is more specific on many topics.
>>73442093
Way ahead of you.
>>73442197
For good measure.
>>73441073
>will China really increase their welfare and wages?
that depends on their people, the poorer people already started resenting the millionaire upper class that became rich from all these exports, they will eventually have to give them something back or they will riot
>>73441732
think of actual people on a large scale, not just ideal people on a small scale
i think if i dont take any real life facts ill end up bottom -9, -9 but if i do take real life facts into account ill probably end up 0,7
>>73442600
(cont) but thats just shitty modern politics anyway
Rate me /pol/
What ever happened to the true far right extremists of /pol/ ?
I remember when the majority was in blue and there was a large proportion of people very deep in the blue.
>>73442400
>eventually
So we should just sit and wait until China reaches its balance while our manufacturing industries collapse? What I don't understand is how tariffing their cheap imports could be bad for my country if it leads to more employment and less social welfare. The only people I can see it benefiting is corporations maximising profits, where the primary concern of a government should be the people
>>73442093
Is there a translation issue with this test? The English question are oddly worded
>>73434589
This is exactly me thank you
>>73443419
Yeah it was translated from German to English.
>>73443301
it depends on how profitable your industries can be. UK has negative balance of trade, so your country is depended more on imports than exports, if you start tariffing all those imports the purchasing power of your citizens will fall so you will need welfare again. I guess you will need to export a product that can actually compete, people will never buy cheap British steel if they can buy even cheaper Chinese steel but they will buy an expensive Mercedes instead of a cheap chinese car
>>73439424
Bullshit. Being able to buy cheap shit from china lowers our cost of living.
>>73440950
That's good for a 16 year old. Most would be ultra libertarian feminists.
>>73444532
>Being able to buy cheap shit from china lowers our cost of living
well thats what I said, cheaper cost of living = more purchasing power
>>73441842
well you said it was bad for consumers
>>73444171
Shipbuilding used to be big for us, places like Cammell lairds still have an international name (the polar research vessel is being built there), steel can be used to build a strong ship manufacturing industry, similar to Germany's steel going into their car production. And places like Cammell lairds are also equipped to build wind turbines (meme power or not, they're big in continental Europe) and submarines
I agree though that we cannot compete with what I guess are essentially unbranded goods, or where brand is irrelevant.
Someone should make one of these with all of the candidates for the 2016 presidential election that's actually accurate. Or at least more accurate than this one. Also, Gary Johnson and Jill Stein are missing.
These can be used for reference:

>tfw I usually end up in the "Damn Feminazis" area of the compass
>tfw I hate feminism, women's liberation, women in the workforce and women's suffrage more than I hate niggers, jews and pretty much everyone else combined
Pretty accurate chart tbqh

Fair enough
>>73433778
Please stop posting the four color one.
It was written by two Jewish Political Science undergrads who want to convince you that you're actually a democrat, pic related.
Post these www.gotoquiz.com/politics/political-spectrum-quiz.html
>>73446633

I found a better one.
>>73445893
Bump.
>Trump farther Authoritarian right than Yeb
Lol. He'd be closer to right libertarian.
>>73442197

>>73433778
rate me, also which of the 2 canidates are closer to my beliefs? According to the site it's clinton, but I find that hard to believe.
>>73450085
>rate
No. Take this one gotoquiz.com/politics/political-spectrum-quiz.html
>According to the site it's clinton
That's because the quiz was made by Jewish Pol Sci undergrad bernie supporters.
>>73445893
Making an accurate one with all of the candidates would be almost impossible, Trump, Paul and a few of the third-party candidates are the only ones that have kept semi-consistent stances, everybody else kept changing their stances constantly depending on what they thought everyone wanted to hear, The Cruz Missile went from standard GOP stances to being pretty close to Trump by the time he dropped out.
>>73449177
I'm surprised Tchaikovsky and dvorak aren't authoritarian
>>73450183
What'd you do to get that far left? You're a standard Democrat according to the result.
>>73449957
Not trying to insult you or any sort of ad hominem but are you a college student with big debts who hates the rich at least partially out of jealousy? Do you consider yourself to be left-libertarian, socialist or something similar? Have you ever read Chomsky?
>>73450085
That's a hard one. The only one I can think of is is probably Ron Paul, but he ventures of a little bit more to the right.
>>73442197
Need a link to this test lads.
>>73450346
Most likely views on taxes and regulations, I think. I didn't even think i was that far left tbqh
>>73450223
The gotoquiz one isn't much better, your two choices are basically being Ayn Rand or an OWS protester
>>73451118
I think it is, actually, because the questions are better worded and it wouldn't represent Donald Trump as being only slightly more right wing than Hillary.
>>73442197
>merchantilism
Aka how to make your nation rich and successful as a motherfucker despite having minimal natural resources, aka the political philosophy at least partially responsible for the Italian Renaissance, the Dutch Golden Age and the Age of Enlightenment, very nice
>>73437443
If you're pro Bern-out then you should be in the red quadrant.
>>73452433
Which test is this?

here ya go
>got libertarian left
I just want an isolationist government which intervenes economically to alleviate social woes, and then back off afterwards.
>>73448792
I like how Clinton is pretending she's a democrat with all of the other republicans.
pretty consistent
Crooked Hillary Clinton, do you know where you are? You're in the Trump Jungle Baby!
