What are the pros and cons of having a dictator?
If he is a benevolent dictator expect better government efficiency.

A competent dictator could potentially lead to glory, while an incompetent dictator (like in your pic) could potentially lead to catastrophe.

Even with a good dictator today, benevolent and whatnot, leading his people to prosperity, I think the biggest con to that would be the interference by other countries, specifically ones without dictators.
Some people may not be so fond of the idea of a dictator, no matter what, and try to stop him.

Pros: The entire country has to do as they're told, forcing people to pursue common goals and work together. Also stupid people aren't given any public platform to spread their stupid to others.
Cons: If the person in charge of the show is a delusional asshole everybody suffers.

Consider the following : The quantity and quality of freedom in a country do NOT depend to political policy of this country! Understrand : A dictatorship does not have to be a lack of freedom and a democracy does not have to be a model of freedom.
Pros :
Having a dictator who garentees the citizens freedom (trade, barter of goods, travel, work, start a firm, love), decides about rules which garentee citizens safety (army in street, strict penalties for public order troubles...) and respect the identity and culture of citizens is a really good dictator!
Cons :
The mankind isn't perfect and having power change our mind! The citizens should choose the dictator. In French history, Napoleon Ier made the French Empire great and full of territories. Citizens should consiering a man or woman who don't yearn about anything (like migrants or Bataclan assault in Paris e.g.) and act by abnegation and defense of his/her country.
