Trudeau also puts French first in everything he posts online. Harper put English first. Rachel Notley (NDP Leader in Alberta) slashed the fire fighting budget and was busy announcing her plans on carbon taxes, taxing oil companies more when the oil crash was happening.
She could have saved thousands of jobs, but instead she crashed our dollar and a lot of those oil companies pulled out of Alberta. No the oil collapse wasn't her fault, but she gave no incentive to keep those oil companies still employing workers. She could have kept a lot of those companies around and those workers employed if she would have just sat down and talked with them, gave them tax cuts and other government incentives to stay.
They said fuck that and left because not only was oil collapsing but Notley was hitting them harder with increased regulation, higher taxes and carbon taxes. Honestly the NDP are the fucking worst. Because our dollar is tied to our oil, she is in part to blame.
She didn't even declare a provincial state of emergency until half the town was gone. Now the left will use this event as an excuse to fight the climate when Canada only contributes 1.6% to global greenhouse gases worldwide, less than Japan.
Trudeau is a disaster and so is Notley.
