The HHF aren't "famous". They may have seen more combat than other USA troops but that doesn't amount to much when the entirety of the USA hardly participated in WW1 to begin with. The small fraction of US soldiers that did participate in combat hardly saw any of it either, regardless of their level of training.
Trying to overrate the HHF by saying they fought the most during WW1 is like taking two extra steps ahead of someone else then gloating about how much further you walked in comparison to them.

Most people in general don't actually know about WW1, at least not in the states. American combat involvement in WW1 isn't famous by any means. certain aspects of it might be more well known than others, but they are not "famous". Even the devs, people who obviously had to study aspects of the war to make the game, admitted to them not being famous.
