Given the fact that it's way easier to learn a language you like, what's /pol/ advice for newbies who want to survive with the right language skills in the foreseeable future?
My guess:
1) Chinese for East Asia and chinese diaspora
2) Arabic for Europe and the Middle East
3) French for Africa
4) Spanish for Americas.

The truth is that you're a self-hating piece of shit. Why would you even endure an existence like that?
English has been set as the international language already. It's used for pilots, business, entertainment, you name it and if it's important it uses English. This is unlikely to change with how embedded it is. Chinese will never take its place because Chinese is too damn difficult for non-native speakers.
Arabic is also a huge pain in the ass and the differences between dialects are a lot bigger than you see in English. Been there, tried that. There's sounds that I spent hours 1 on 1 with a professor trying to be able to differentiate, and no dice.
Spanish is easy for English speakers, so is French. You already hear the necessary sounds. Both open up a lot of different countries for being able to speak to the natives due to their colonization efforts in the past, and both are pretty sweet places to visit, especially Spain. Plus it's easy to find courses for them if you're an American, or if you're a European, to just find a native.
