On the upside the crowsourcing thing led to Inexile and Obsidian being able to make retro games.
Wasteland 2 wasn't great, used premade assets a lot and was kind of wonky. Pillars of Eternity was pretty good. But Tides of Numenera looks like it could actually be great.
