Aleppo when?

Acording for what i'm reading, Assad/Soleimani/Putin are now trying to conceal a ceasefire to push back ISIS from other zones like East Hama/East Homs and Deir Ezzor, but if the shit isn't going anywhere, Putin will bring back all the plains to blow up Nusra/FSA.

Media is starting to tell the true about FSA and Nusra, how they're connected, so if the ceasefires aren't successful in 1 or 2 months, the Aleppo's Full Scale Operation will begin.

We're reaching to the end of the war, Trump will stop messing up in ME and stop the shit with Turkey/Saudi Arabia, FSA/Nusra have no more manwpower to hold on terrain if the start losing more men like the last 10 days in Aleppo and for worse, if the RuAF is going to go back again, then theirs days are numbered.

That is a style of beard I sometimes also observe on strongly religious christians, come to think about it. Is it just fashion or some obscure commandment found both in christianity and islam?

>>
>>73104776
Well obviously you don't want to destroy the ammo while you are still fighting so it is something that has to happen at the last moment when you are sure that you are about to be overrun. by that point everyone is just focusing on getting as far away as possible. Watch some of the drone views of positions collapsing, from everyone shooting to everybody running happens in around 30 seconds.

If the SAA had officers that could order and plan retreats they could decide that a position is unable to hold and plant charges before starting an orderly retreat. They don't have that though.

After all, some places still don't have Russian Support like Palmyra, Latakia or Aleppo, so they're in the old model of arabs shits, and that go for ISIS too.

should also consider the SAA has lost some 50k solders over the span of the war. most of them probably the best trained/experienced so you can't blame the conscripts/militia that are basically fighting for their lives to keep alive

perhaps. ISIS were pretty quiet on most fronts for a bit, but in recent days theyve increased pressure on both Azaz (opposition) and northeast of Palmyra (SAA)

however theyve started efforts and propaganda videos to literally train child soldiers, so I would hope that says something about man power shortage.

>Recently, a report revealed that 91% of the Ukrainian Army’s weaponry and armored vehicles have been put back in service as its troops have regrouped around the Donbass region, a small pocket in eastern Ukraine controlled by Russian separatists.

>Thus, an upcoming summer offensive is now expected which endangers the Minsk-brokered ceasefire agreement and threatens to embroil the country in war once more.

>tinfoiling this hard

ISIS originated in the late 90s, then became bound to al-Qaeda, then split and became ISIS. al-Qaeda adheres to Qutubism, which preaches fighting the foreign enemy first, while ISIS are Salafis and Wahabis who believe that cleansing the Muslim community comes first before fighting the foreign enemies (which means killing everyone who isn't Sunni). They believe the first generation of Muslim parents, grandparents, and children were the example to follow (salafi means 'predecessor') and they base this on the hadith where Mohammed says the Muslims of his generation were the best to ever live and practice Islam.

Their interpretation of the Quran comes from al-Wahab who lived in the 19th century. They combine Salafism and Wahabism, al-Qaeda does not.

No intelligence community and no Western government has anything to do with them and never had anything to do with them, even back in the late 90s when they first originated.

You see them with American military equipment because the Iraqi troops threw down their weapons and ran and they looted them from them. The Syrian army didn't run, they stood their ground and fought, hence why these routes between Iraq and Syria are so vitally important for ISIS, they need them to transport all the weapons they looted in Iraq to their men fighting on the frontlines in Syria.

The more you know.

This is why I stopped posting in these threads. Every one of you fucking idiots were harping about how ISIS never threatened Israel, then I posted a video of an Arab-Israeli ISIS fighter threatening to kill all the Jews in Hebrew and you completely ignored it and asked why they never attempted to attack Israel or kill Israelis then I posted an interview with Jurgen Todenhoffer, a German journalist who spent ten days in the Islamic State with guaranteed protection from al-Baghdadi, who stated that ISIS aren't afraid of US or British ground troops, but they're afraid of Israeli ground troops and Israel is the only country ISIS is afraid of, and that STILL wasn't good enough.

I should have learned my lesson then, you people are fucking IDIOTS.

The munitions part is horseshit, the medical care was a deal that was struck between Israel and the Syrian rebels, not the jihadists and Islamists, that if the rebels stay away from Israel's Golan border and do not touch the Druze, since Israel assists the Druze on the Syrian side of the border, then they can receive medical care on a don't-ask-don't-tell basis.

When the Israelis did this around this time last year, ISIS had no presence in the Golan and if they did, they would have slaughtered the Druze and Israel would have retaliated, thus no deal would have been struck.

They want them gone because the Kurds declared an autonomy there with the approval of Assad.

Assads doesn't care because the Kurdish region will act as a buffer when turkey decides to invade the place.

Erdogan doesn't want to see autonomy for the Kurds anymore after their succes in Iraqi Kurdistan and Rojava. Mainly because he has 15+ million Kurds living in turkey. Keep in mind that the battle with the 10K man PKK (armed by teenagers and females) has been going on for 40 years already.

Erdogan thinks "what are 15 million Kurds capable of if 10K are already raping my soldiers for the last 40 years?"

>Geopolitics is messy and every side is bad and good.

Except I never said that. I don't think "a terrorist is a terrorist is a terrorist", I think all terrorists ARE NOT created equal. I look at their ideology. I look at their goals. I look at their methods of obtaining these goals. I look at their motivation. I look at all of these things.

ISIS believes in slaughtering everyone who isn't them. This makes them a legitimate target to annihilate from this planet since those who refuse tolerance and acceptance of the other are, unknowingly, making themselves victims of legitimate backlash.

The Kurds don't want to slaughter me and kill me for not being like them. They just want their own country. They do not want to conquer the planet like ISIS.

Do you see my point? I look at what each group wants and I judge them based on that. And when I do this, these Islamists like ISIS are by far the worst group of people involved in this entire conflict, they don't want as-Sham, they want the entire planet.

Kurds have a long history of slaughtering non-Kurds whenever they are allowed to do so.

Autonomous Kurdistan was supposedly disarming Yazidi and Assyrian citizens, who were left as the only people in Iraq without small-arms, as the smallest minority groups in the country.

Then the Kurds left them to get swept up by ISIS and swooped in to 'save' them.

Kurds are as much scum as anybody else, they're just smarter.

Who gave them these guns? They looted them from the Iraqi military. The Iraqi military was corrupt beyond all hope, those weren't soldiers, those were investors. They'd pay their way up the ranks, say they had 500 soldiers, when in reality, they only had maybe 200, and they'd pocket the salaries of the so-called "ghost soldiers". They looted the entire two billion dollar military budget we left them. If they did their jobs properly, ISIS never would have humiliated them the way that they did.

We're back to re-train and re-arm them, but I have little hope it will change anything. It's not a military problem, it's a cultural problem. And cultural problems take generations to correct.

We gave weapons to several different groups of people and intervened in several different countries throughout history. There are no Salvadoran, Guatemalan, Vietnamese, or North Korean terrorists.

If you're trying to say that Muslims are savage animals who are not to be trusted or engaged in any way because they are so batshit crazy, then I agree with you there. Removing Saddam was a gigantic mistake. But ISIS existed long before that happened and had all the same aims and goals as it did then, so their creation had nothing to do with removing Saddam.

>You say only ISIS is responsible yet there's clear evidence the whole situation is funded and encouraged by the west in an attempt to take down Assad.

Assad doesn't want to slaughter us in our own countries. ISIS does. After Paris, Brussels, and San Bernardino, our government has stated over and over again that ISIS is definitely the greater evil. The people in charge of our security aren't so fucking stupid as to believe that Assad is worse than ISIS, that's why we've bombed them and put advisers on the ground to re-arm and re-train these incompetent fucks to fight them.

The "moderate rebels" who were meant to replace Assad turned out to be basically no better than ISIS regarding their beliefs and the idea was abandoned.

We fucked with Assad, saw that what he was fighting was WAY WORSE than he could ever be, and decided to scrap the whole idea of a "moderate" rebel force to replace him because moderates do not exist and ISIS is targeting us in our home countries, something Assad would never do.

Mistakes were made, decisions were changed, but this doesn't change the fact that ISIS is responsible for the horrific shit that they do, and if the Iraqi military didn't collapse due to being corrupt fucks when they invaded, this situation wouldn't even exist as it does right now.

If anything, I blame the Iraqi military for this situation more than anyone else.

If FSA take over Syria will end up worse than Libya and ISIS will take over, giving them all the resources of Syria to attack the west. At least Assad is not interested in fighting foreign countries.

Didn't ISIS exist because AL-Qaeda existed? Who created AL-Qaeda? You and your Saudi allies.

Didn't Saddam's removal help ISIS tremendously? Stop making these 'gigantic mistakes' USA! Start doing something to prevent your government from looting the third world. You're about to make a 'gigantic mistake' thrice. Gotta be honest with you. It almost looks like US is cultivating ISIS around the world.

>If you're trying to say that Muslims are savage animals who are not to be trusted or engaged in any way because they are so batshit crazy

Well, I compared them to monkeys so yeah. That's why there are a lot less non-Muslim terrorists. Muslims are easily susceptible to radicalization. Part of the reason is Islam itself. The other part of the reason are your ally's efforts.

>Didn't ISIS exist because AL-Qaeda existed?

No. They joined al-Qaeda in Iraq after the US invasion in 2003 then broke apart from them in 2006 because they wanted to purify the Islamic world of Shi'ites and other non-Sunni sects while al-Qaeda wanted to cooperate with them first and then deal with them after the great satan was defeated.

>Who created AL-Qaeda?

Osama bin Laden, whom the Saudi royal family despised. The CIA never had contact with bin Laden, this is a meme, and Peter Bergen does a fine job dismissing it as the only Western journalist to interview bin Laden.

>CIA did fund Gulbuddin Hekmatyar during the war against the Soviets, who is now the leader of a Taliban allied insurgent group fighting in northeastern Afghanistan, and an Afghan Pashtun close to bin Laden. CIA also had a relationship in the 1980s with Jalaluddin Haqqani, later a millitary commander of the Taliban. But the CIA and al-Qaeda had no direct dealings of any kind.

>Stop making these 'gigantic mistakes'

What was the one benefit Saddam provided which was sorely lacking and caused this mess after his removal?

Security.

You didn't even read what I wrote here about why the Iraqi military is squarely to blame for this mess.

They could have had security without Saddam, but their greed and corruption overtook them. We gave them everything to prevent something like this and they fucking wasted every last bit of it.

>do you not see that Assads government is the only force that will be able to defeat ISIS in Syria?

I never disagreed with this. Assad is a secular dictator and all the minorities (of which the Assad family is, they're Alawites) and modern, civil people in that country depend on secularism which he is willing to protect and defend. I never agreed with funding the "moderate" rebels or fucking with Assad, I was simply explaining why that decision changed.

>If FSA take over Syria will end up worse than Libya and ISIS will take over, giving them all the resources of Syria to attack the west. At least Assad is not interested in fighting foreign countries.

>They combine Salafism and Wahabism

Stop talking out of your ass!
Whhabism is just another (deragatory) term for salafism which started by Muhammad ibn Abd-al-Wahhab.
The reason people who want to insult salafism by calling it wahabism is because the term salafia (like alsalaf alsalih) lends credit to the salafists themselves, hence they want to distract from that,

>al-Qaeda adheres to Qutubism, which preaches fighting the foreign enemy first, while ISIS are Salafis and Wahabis who believe that cleansing the Muslim community comes first before fighting the foreign enemies

This has nothing to do with Qutaibi, and he said nothing about fighting who first, just advocated jihad againt both the secular ME governments and the west.
Al-qaida are salafists/wahabists, Azzam, Bin laden, and current Alqaida command are too!
Both he and Abdullah Azzam along with osama bin laden are considered the revivers of islam among all jihadists, be it Alqaida, or ISIS!

this issue is new.

Wahabis don't like being called Wahabis. This makes the description less accurate? The Islamic State does not like being called Da'esh, but it's simply the Arabic acronym for Dawlat Islamiyyah, does it make it less accurate because they don't like being called that?

>and he said nothing about fighting who first

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Qutbism

>It has been described as advancing the extremist jihadist ideology of propagating "offensive jihad," - waging jihad in conquest

He wanted the West first. al-Qaeda wanted the West first. bin Laden wanted the West first. They had no interest in cleansing the Islamic world of non-Sunni sects, there was even an (albeit shaky) alliance between bin Laden and Iran.

>Qutbism has gained widespread attention because it is widely believed to have influenced Islamic extremists and terrorists such as Osama bin-Laden

You need to stop talking. And get out of Cyprus, Turk.
>>
>>73132805

Oh wait, now I see why you threw a hissy fit about Wahabism and Salafism.

Wahabism preaches a literal interpretation of the Quran which was quite uncommon in the Islamic world at the time, there were several schools of Islamic thought that maintained that there was an "obvious" and "hidden" meaning in each verse, much like Talmudic scholars thought about the Talmud. His approach was radical and literal.

The Salafism is the preaching of following the ways of the prophet Mohammed which means following the Sunnah as it existed at the time of their pious forefathers, it has nothing to do with an interpretation of the Quran, that comes from Wahabism, groups like ISIS blend the two together.

There is a reason why the pan-arabian secular, secular, Gamal Abdel Nasser had him excuted, he was a threat to ME governments.
he viewed current ME seculrists as both an extension, and as puppets of the west. So did Osama Binladen.
Again both Alqaida and ISIS agree on that, they just differ on method!

>>Qutbism has gained widespread attention because it is widely believed to have influenced Islamic extremists and terrorists such as Osama bin-Laden

Whats your point? I already wrote that he is beloved by all jihadist
Do you even know that ISIS's main website still hosts Osama binladen's picture in the main page?

You could look right above you, but I'll post it again.

You can drag in Nasser, the Muslim Brotherhood, bin Laden, al-Qaeda, and ISIS, but the fact remains that ISIS is concerned with cleansing the Islamic world of non-Sunnis, something al-Qaeda never gave a fuck about, they wanted the West first.

Why did they hold the lunatic view that their own governments were hostile towards them? Because of the West.

From top to bottom, left to right, Qutubism preaches jihad against the West. Salafis and Wahabis advocate cleaning up their own backyard of heretics and infidels first, then with Allah's blessing for their efforts, confront the Western world.

After Mohammed Emwazi beheaded James Foley, what was his message to the Western world?

"Leave us alone."

There is something called "overlap" and while there is a great deal of overlap between Wahabism and Salafism, they are technically not the same thing. All Wahabis are Salafis, but not all Salafis are Wahabis. There are many Salafis who do not agree with a Wahabist interpretation of the Quran.

Why does this bother you so much?

He's already said he hates Wikipedia, so that's out the window even though it's already the easiest and there are several sites that answer this question for retards like Quora and Yahoo Answers which I assume he will disregard, now rather than just rattle off what I already know from reading about this topic for over ten years, that Salafism is a 13th century idea and Wahabism is a 19th century idea, they were both unpopular and controversial everywhere except in Saudi Arabia, Wahabism came to mean essentially the same thing as Salafism, even though it's technically not true, ect, I mean, what is he looking for? Books? Arabic sources? What?

If he hates Wikipedia, he damn sure won't read anything written for plebs to understand like Quora and Yahoo Answers and he absolutely won't accept my answer combed from over ten years of reading about the topic.
>>
>>73138812
>ten years reading about islam

>>
>>73138812
None of those are valid sources mate. Wikipedia, Quora and Yahoo answers can be made up by anyone, I can literally go there right now and lie to fit my agenda. Try giving those sources to any academic and they will laugh about you.

Articles, books, magazines, research papers, those are usually valid sources.
>>
>>73138812
Excuses, ehh?

Alright then, i'll do some of your job for you.

since Saudi Arabia and it's sunni clerics are the authority on Salfasim (they are salafist).
Bring me a source from them that states that Wahabism is a seperate entity.

Since wahabism literally means followers of Muhammad ibn Abd-al-Wahhab, then your source can also be one where any salafi cleric discredits Muhammad ibn Abd-al-Wahhab.

Since you are over a "ten years" expert on this matter, one would had assumed you wouldn't need that advice since you already know salafism so well!

Now show us your true knowledge (or lack thereof)!
>>
>>73138516

I'm asking you, what sources would satisfy you?

You're essentially telling me that 2 + 2 isn't 4 and asking me to prove it. Where would I even begin? Salafis are the ahl as-sunnah, the people of the sunnah, their commitment is to the prophet Mohammed and emulating their predecessors since Mohammed said they were the best Muslims to ever live.

Wahabism came much later and is a different form of Salafism.

Am I wrong about this?

>>73139480

>Saudi Arabia and it's sunni clerics are the authority on Salfasim

it can be a fatwa from a verififiable website where they usually issue it, a video recording (not a cut part where things can be cut out of context), a lecture, book, a publication, any fatwa, etc...
you get the idea.

Honestly, there are rules with in all branches off islam about verifying sources, as a "ten year" expert you should have known
>>
>>73137819
Sounds like BS and there's 0 proof of any planes flying around there.
Why would Russia/Assad bomb a fucking refugee camp near Turkish border?
>>
>>73139676
>>73140313

Not ten years of dedicated study, but just keeping a general interest in the cause of Islamic terrorism and through all of this time, you read the same thing over and over again, and you don't even realize that you've never read the footnotes and read the source material.

For example, look at this. I read it years ago.

>Salafism is a very diversified and complicated ideologically and religiously motivated trend and is
thus not constructed by one unified discourse or group or authority. As a rule, all Wahhabis are
salafists, but not all salafists are Wahhabis

From here

http://conflictsforum.org/briefings/Wahhabism-Salafism-and-Islamism.pdf

I mean, I remember that quote and I remember the source, so that's an example of what I mean by "ten years of reading". This wasn't even written ten years ago, but close to it.

It goes into great detail about how Salafism is the opposite of Wahhabism.

Now people are telling me they're the same thing and making my fucking mind melt.

Is it wrong that they're different?

I'm really starting to think so.
>>
>>73140867
I don't think they would, I want to know who done it though.
>>
>>73140725
Since wahabi literally means follower Muhammad ibn ʿAbd al-Wahhab, it can be anything these saudi salafi clerics say to discredit him (Muhammad ibn ʿAbd al-Wahhab), also.
Here you go, another potential source, all you have to do is show us now.
>>
>>73141070
Honestly? Suicide bombing or Nusrat shelling until proven otherwise.
We'll see what tomorrow brings.
Russia/Assad had absolutely, completely no reason to bomb the camp and Ivans know who's flying in and out of Syria, so no false flag is possible.
My bet is that there wasn't even a plane there.
>>
>>73141103
>>73140725

Dude, fuck it, I give up, I've always read they're different, one is based on the sunnah, one is steeped in interpreting the Quran in with a literal interpretation which was alien to the Muslim world at that time.

It's just what I read over a long period of time, if I read the same thing from different sources over the course of ten years and they were all wrong, then I apologize.

I'm actually feeling like I'm insane, not going to lie.
