Everywhere. Even people who aren't hardcore fans still have a nostalgic connection to the movies either the theme songs, Stay-Puff Marshmallow Man, Slimer. Go to any comic convention and you will see someone dressed up like a Ghostbuster.

What people wanted was the original cast to do one more movie fell through when Harold Ramis died and thanks to Bill Murray being a prick (there were email leaks of Sony plotting to use legal action to force him to be in the movie Female Ghostbusters). Then they tried to pass it off to other people and sadly the executives though Paul Feig was the best choice which he was not.
