I've thought about your invade Canada scenario.
It could be done. Might be messy, who knows how hard the Canadians would fight or whether they'd use nukes. We'd win of course, and maybe even win well without major losses. But there's a decent chance it'd be a protracted ugly war.
So let's rule out war. But Canada has resources we need. They have fresh water. They have oil. They have timber and other natural resources.
That is all true. But these are all commodities that shit-tier nations build themselves around. Let Canada sell its oil to us. They're in a race with ISIS and the Arabs over who can offer the best price. It's a fools game.
