All I'm asking from you is to describe why you like Trump, why you think the meme magic is effective, and how you got to like Trump if you did not beforehand.

There was a response in another thread that I saw, but essentially, the reason meme magic works is because of a shared sense of community. You make these jokes, and slowly you start to pay attention to what Trump is actually saying, and since you already have a positive first experience with him, you decide to support him. As far as why I like him, I'm tired of the way things are in America, and would rather at least try something new than have the same shit we've already done with Hillary.

I like Trump because I'm fed up with the bullshit politics that have been going on for decades. I'm a Rothbardian AnCap type but I'm also a nationalist. I like the idea of a wall so that I'm not paying food stamps for a bunch of people who just send the money they make back to Mexico. As long as I live in and pay taxes to this country I'm going to vote for the Candidate who puts this country first, and Trump seems to be the only one who isn't cucked to international interests.

People are voting to destroy the establishment. /pol/ and /b/ to a lesser extent have effectively red-pilled younger ( and older) anons with effective logical arguments.
Trump won't do anything amazing. It's very likely he wont be able to fulfill any of his pledges. What is getting him traction is at least he's putting it on the agenda. No one else is. Everyone elses agenda is to subvert, oppose and pretend the problems don't exist.
Honestly I'd prefer someone who has business experience in the real world with that focus instead of political machinations that revolve around SJWs, transgenders and in bed with the same investment banks that almost collapsed the economy.
He may have started this with a mindset to raise his profile and further his business credentials to make money after The Apprentice, but, POL knew he would fuck everyone off and backed him. Time to get on the Trump Train and make America great again.

I didn't consider border enforcement to be a major issue... until I realized just how vehemently even the moderate Left objected to the notion of my nation having any borders at all.

He is tough on immigration. He wants to actually enforce the laws unlike Obama. He wants to build the wall (this is what got me on the Trump Train). He is tired of the many trade imbalances. The U.S. is presently headed towards a totally predictable outcome: Mass importation of millions of Muslims over coming years and decades, who will multiply their numbers further after some years delay due to becoming eligible to bring in relatives. They become a voting block lobbying for more to be brought in, and there are already almost 2 billion Muslims in the world. Nothing ordinarily prevents such, as, the more Muslims who come in, the more votes to bring in more.
(Also, even before then, increased enforcement of political correctness, to aid the preceding, would destroy intellectual freedom).
Most people can't even chain enough thoughts together in a row to see such.
That's all well and good if you have read little enough about Muslim countries not to know what they are predominately actually like, especially for non-Muslims living in them.
But there is a problem: If I thought Muslim countries like Saudia Arabia, Iraq, Pakistan, etc. were superior to the U.S., I would have moved there. I don't. I lack the cultural marxism passion for destroying civilization as we know it.
Trump is the one presidential candidate who might change the default path and might actually save the country. Vote Trump or vote Allah Akbar.
This isn't hate, just logic. I'm fine with Muslims existing thousands of miles away, going their own path, as long as they do not take over non-Muslim countries like mine. After we reach the stars, we can come back and deal with their primitive outlook someday.
