16 yo. When you're the hegemon, you need a big military to keep your spot at the top.
>>
Essentially when Trump started campaigning. I realized how much of the Libertarian ideology is subverted by Kochs and Open border billionaires for their benefit.
>>

Pretty much this. Free trade and letting business do what they will consistently fucks people over.

Ya ya ya. Now the cool thing to be is Anarcho Capitalist.

Whatever. Free Market Capitalism is the best way to go.

As the jew Milton Friedman said..

"The liberal conceives of men as imperfect beings. He regards the problem of social organization to be as much a negative problem of preventing "bad" people from doing harm as of enabling "good" people to do good; and, of course, "bad" and "good" people may be the same people, depending on who is judging them."

>Free Market Capitalism
that's what's been going around for the last 8 decades
more of the same shit won't fix globalization
>>

Corporatism/Crony Capitalism isnt Free Market Capitalism. When a government owns the balance wheel for the economy its not Free Market Capitalism. Which has been so for just about... 80 years lol
>>
>>72536290
>Corporatism/Crony Capitalism isnt Free Market Capitalism
it's what it becomes
when monopolies aren't broken up and corruption is legalized in the form of lobbying, you'll get corporatism
a model for the president should be the trust buster, Teddy Roosevelt

i was never that stupid

That argument is made for literally every form of governance.

Everything eventually leads to to its extreme end. I havent seen proof that humans can prevent this from even happening.

So until thats alleviated ill take individual sovereignty over a group of suits dictating morality and trade..
>>
>>72536853
>free trade
>individual sovereignity
it just leads to predatory market tactics and vulture capitalism; the people who succeed will only be the ones who play dirty
free trade isn't in your interest, it's only in the interest of the status quo, and the current status quo is the global oligarchic jewry

A few years ago.

I realized that libertarians had a sacred cow: capitalism.

According to them, thou shalt not ever deny the absolute superiority of capitalism, no mater what the evidence.

I like it better when everything is criticized with no exceptions. Criticize the libs and the conservatives. Criticize the dems and the GOPs. Criticize socialism and capitalism. Criticize the anarchists and the authoritarians. Criticize all institutions of power -- no exceptions. Criticize all corporations. Criticize all religions. And for god's sake don't ever stop criticizing each and every politician, without exception.

So even though libertarianism has some worthwhile ideas to consider, I had to turn away from them because they worship at the altar of capitalism. I don't worship a goddam thing, and I never will.

Kek, businesses doing what they want means bankruptcy for them. In a libertarian government there would be no bailouts however. So businesses have to do what's of the consumers' interests.

This.

At the time it sounded better then politics as usual but when you look byond that its terrable
>>
>>72537291
Funny thing is, if we had a true libertarian society and you came up with something objectively better at maintaining individual rights and freedoms than a capitalist system allows, they'd adopt it.

I like libertarian ideals but I think there should be strong anti-monopoly and anti-corrpution laws. Also tearing down borders seems economically suicidal, at least with the way things are currently run. So I don't know what that makes me.
>>
>>72531619

I have some libertarian ideals, but overall I'm not fully libertarian. I did vote for Ron Paul because I saw him as the only decent and honest guy in the race.
