A personal bankruptcy =/= a business bankruptcy. by the way the failure rate of a starting business is about 50% during the first few years and he has over 100 companies with only 4 of them filing for bankruptcy and they filed for the bankruptcy that restructures the debt instead of making it disappear His companies did pay up. Basically, the only thing Trump has going for him is that he "tells it like it is." This appeals to reactionaries (like those on this board) because you see him as a prophetic figure for your PC culture war which the president actually has no business in. Rather than continue to fight on your own, you want to elect someone to the highest office in the land to fight it for you (which he won't do anyway because he doesn't really care).
He's marketing himself as the guy who can "fix the economy," yet as we know his actual ability as a businessman is suspect. This is underscored by the fact that the president doesn't have anywhere near as much control over the economy as the average person seems to think.
He's even worse at every other issue. Do we want this guy debating with other leaders, being able to detonate a nuclear weapon, or just in general being a representative of the United States? HELL NO. And does anyone genuinely think he will somehow get a wall built that obviously neither Democrats or Republicans really want to build?
There is no good reason to vote or support Trump. It's all memeing.
