I should of chosen my words better. It's not that they literally "stole" from people. I normally debate Muslims who believe that Muslims literally invented everything and it infuriates me beyond belief so out of anger, I used the word "stole", but rather, they learned through their own means and also learned from others, which is true for any group be the Egyptians, Greeks, Muslims, Persians, etc.
The contributions that Muslims made to math are quite interesting. If they were an unfamiliar place far away from home, they would calculate the position of the sun and then figure out "where" they were, and they did so this that they knew which way to face to pray to Mecca. I don't deny Muslim contribution to science, math, and many other fields, I simply just get upset with other Muslims who truly believe Muslims invented literally everything.

The Byzantine's (who were inherently Christian) defended Europe and advanced civilization itself for over a 1,000 years. Without the Crusades, Europe would of continued to get hammered by Muslim conquest and Europe as we know it today wouldn't exist. Christianity played a big role in Western Civilization.
