I'm from northern Canada. It's cold. Winter lasts forever. You get like 10 months of snow. Food is expensive. Natives (think Asians except stupider than Blacks) outnumber whites. There are no jobs except for camps way out in the bush. There are no people or anything really. A number of places are polluted by old industrial operations. You can't get decent internet speeds or cell service. If you have any medical problems you have to go south to see a specialist. The people are all miserable. Suicide is common. So is addiction. Stay out of the North.

I'm in Alaska, something similar can be seen here where all the liberals are concentrated in Anchorage and Southeast - the closest places to Seattle and the warmer parts of the state, meanwhile Fairbanks is where all the militias are and every third flag or so is a Confederate battle flag.
