After this the students were able so ask him questions. I shit you not some guy (he was literally retarded and was 100% seriously) raised his hand and asked "Did prisoners receive any punishments when they denied to eat their food?"
The awkward silence after his question gives me keks up to this day.

Compared to being burned alive? Or gased? But yeah I guess I should read more. All I know about it is that with a short fall/no fall you'll basically just be strangled to death, an it leaves marks on the neck, so I guess that's petty painful also. With a long fall it snaps your neck and if I remember correctly you get knocked out in a few seconds or instantly.
Zyklon b cuts the production of ATP, can produce foaming at the mouth and green spots on the skin. Not sure how that would feel like.
