Unlike in almost every other nation in the world, the US military isn't made up of an elite group of intelligent, physically fit individuals hand picked for combat success. It's made up of idiots, the lowest of the low. You see, in America, when you graduate from high school and you're too stupid to do anything else, you get recruited to join the military. It isn't people who could have been successful in other ways of life but just happened to be physically fit and patriotic, it's the idiots whose parents forced them to join up after they sat around in the basement for years after graduating high school. It's essentially a giant welfare program for people who would have otherwise been in prison or on the street.
That's why we have so much PTSD, VA, disabled, "honorable" discharges, etc. Any American "soldier" would lose 1v1 with a soldier from another country. We're only the best military because we have far more of them, accomplished by taking literally anyone who signs up.
