Literally none of these things are socialism.

Also, the Puritans who founded New England were very much for public education since the Massachusetts Bay Colony's founding and the creation of Harvard in 1636.

As far as "Public Health Care" goes, that is never what the debate is about. Everyone in the United States can receive health care services. Socialized Health Insurance is something completely different.
>>
>>72127855
One does not simply sieze control overnight. To subvert the free country of the US takes many years. Centuries perhaps. Taking control of small bits at a time under the ruse of helping everyone is how it is done. Perpetual war enables the erosion of liberty.
>>
I agree. The burgers are backwards as fuck about this.

But there's one difference with healthcare. In the other cases, the state can protect itself better from abusers. They can kick people out of schools, taking too much water is generally illegal, destroying the highways or parks is illegal, etc.

But degenerates could keep doctors busy forever if they keep injuring themselves. In the US, public health should come with real solutions for the drugs, obesity and mental health problems. Which is difficult in a society that pretends to be free so hard.
>>
>>72128140

>Everyone in the United States can receive health care services.

Not if you don't want to be in debt for the rest of your life.
>>
>>72127614
Uhhh socialism wasn't even a term until around 1836. Even then no one in America gave a shit until around the early 1900s.
>>
>>72128209
Except no tyranny in history began like that. They all began with the declaration of constant martial law, the establishment of a police state, a civil war, or the takeover of a country by one person. Not by expansion of social services.
>>
>>72128260

>people could keep doctors busy if they keep injuring themselves

That's kind of how long term care, especially geriatric care, already works.
>>

canada has a huge drug, obesity, and mental health problem faggot

we don't even have enough doctors or nurses and people regularly die waiting for aid

Public schools spend more per child than any other country and we are dumb as hell

Public water makes sense, but Flint MI pretty much sums up when government agents are left in control.

Ok, roads are fine...

Leslie Knope please go.

Every Doctor I know personally know is literally a millionaire. My wealthiest friend does cataract surgery under medicare, and has 5 cars totaling $320,000. Glad to see government payouts are handled responsibly.

What? In what situation would they prioritize long term geriatric care over the kind of short term trauma likely involved with someone dying young suddenly?

Is there supposed to be something to refute in this picture? Yes, technically all of these things would fall (perhaps loosely) under the definition of socialism - but it's typical liberal autism to imply that people thought that each of these things INDIVIDUALLY would ruin America.

They try to convince you it's a "one-and-done" deal, but what's really happening is that weight is being added to a scale to tip the balance. Each new socialist law in America will not kill it by itself, but combine them all and the total magnitude can be seen. That total magnitude is completely ignored by the fool that illustrated this cheap bait comic.

No, public health care will not be the downfall of America - but it's another crack in the dam that may one day break. We're already seeing some of the leaks caused by previous cracks that have evolved into holes that nobody's willing to patch. And after public health care is "accepted", the next socialist hammer will take a swing at the dam. Who knows - tranny rights for undeveloped children, pedophile legality, unlimited immigration?

Fuck you, M. Wuerker

A slippery slope argument attempts to extrapolate the outcome of Z from the event A.

In this case, someone is extrapolating Z from A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, and J.

At this point, it would be reasonable to assume that the pattern will likely continue.

Medicare and Medicaid exist.

ER services, while expensive, will sometimes be written off entirely. Most hospitals will find structured ways to pay hospital fees so it's not crippling.

There are charities that will give out medical services.

What do you mean? Surely they keep documents in Canada?
>>
>>72129073
actually, yes, it spread and become popular among western thinkers fast

however back then it was more theories and hypothesis, socialism as a concept didn't become a real movement in any western country with a decent literacy rate, which is why germans thought it was hot trash and russians fell for it

the reverse is true now, in shitty second world countries people read more then the west, and communism and socialism are extremely popular ehre

Socialism wasn't even part of the fucking lexicon in 1790.
>>
Das Kapital was written in 1867 and communism didn't really take off until the 1910s so I don't understand how socialism could have been a factor in the mid 1700s...

The revolutionaries in America were fighting a monarchy. Their fears were of socialism it was of royalism.

Leftists are dumb. They are like so dumb.

Who the fuck cares about public parks?

Any Canadian who's actually tried to use the health care system knows how much of a mess it is. It's grossly underfunded and overburdened(mostly by fucking immigrants). Canada will have extreme problems in the next few decades with health care as baby boomers begin to crush the system in old age.

remember these basic rules of disseminating internet information.

>1. Is it factual or emotional?

>2. Is it professional paid for content or is it spontaneous creativity for fun. How to tell the difference go to (1).

If it is trying to be funny remember humor is a tactic used to convince, coerce and belittle, people love to laugh but they hate being laughed at. If it's emotional ignore it, go deeper to the source.

Now emotional information is often packaged as factual information to slip past your bullshit detector. The best way to tell is to check sources that are quoted and make sure that the real story has not been distorted in some way to shape a new narrative. This means some extra work, but if you don't do it now, you may spend much more time wrong, spreading foolish ideas later.

You do realize that it wasn't going to war with other countries that lost it for nazi Germany, right? It was going to war with big banks, communism and a minority ethnic control over a a staggeringly disproportionate amount of their culture, economy, literature etc. it just so happened that the rock they overturned happened to, instead of random bugs to be squashed like they were expecting when they rooted out this corruption, instead that rock had the snake of Judea lurking underneath it instead. Eve rock of corruption, communism, degeneracy, et al every single one had a fucking Jew lurking under it.

http://www.theoccidentalobserver.net/2016/04/review-final-solution-the-fate-of-the-jews-1933-49-part-one-of-five/

I know I won't see a response here but everyone should read this, and then read the book. Basically the only reason nazis are considered tyrants today is because "muh poor judea oi vey dey put ahs in camps n made us work it vos a Shoah!".

1872 was the date yellowstone was turned into a park.

The first highway was 1911 because we didn't have cars back in 1842.

First sewers were built in 1850-1860 because it was only then that the first link to cholera and contaminated water supplies was made.

Between 1750 and 1870, we were still in a war-readiness state against Britain. There wasn't a public school founded until 1823, where in it was the first.

Nazi Germany lost either way. Win or lose Putting people in camps for any reason is tyrannical

First - I work with the federal Government everyday. It's been my job for 8 years. Every admin who has control over contracts, pricing, and logistics is a black woman who can't be fired, and has the ability to crush my company by not answering emails. Zero accountability.

I know a lot of Doctors. Sorry I was born into a white upper class world and most of my high school friends went into medicine and law. When we go out, all they do is talk about money. Private schools, rare whiskey, and exotic family vacations are the norm.

Essentially, American healthcare cost is grotesquely over inflated. Doctors get wealthy by blackmailing people with pain, suffering, and death. The Government plays along, and pays them vast sums of money for routine surgery under medicare/medicaid.

However, your uncle will get the best care in the world...as long as his credit holds out.
