South Park has remained consistently good in my book. Unlike some other shows like Simpsons, Family Guy, etc.
The reason is simple. South Park has had the same creative team behind it from the start. While all the other shows that go on for far too long, have a rotating staff of writers, and the show creator never does any writing themselves.
Sure sometimes South Park makes fun of things I like. But I am not a fucking pussy that will stop watching something simply because it doesn't cater to me 100% of the time.

Seriously, last season they throwed buckets of shit on PC culture, gentrification and other stuff that is plagging the world. That battle against the ads was pretty spot on, nowadays it seems that the average joe is just a vesel to propaganda; there are no more individuals, just ads, people are literal ads. Also, they correctly identified the reason: women. The little girl ad - SJW/feminist/PC culture - just manages to infiltrate the system because Jimmy, the average man, cannot stop thinking with his dick. They even explicitly throw the redpill: "all ads (=women) lie and all ads deceive".
The yaoi episode for me was one of the best ever, although not related to the main saga. It played with very deep issues in a hilarious way.
