I already wandered around outside and there's probably about 200ish people in line to see him plus an unknown number already inside the gym. There are also people collecting signatures for anti fracking, distributing stuff for the Socialist Workers Party, etc... Honestly, the best route to go would be to protest quietly and remain calm cool and collected. Then watch as they all freak out. Don't stoop to their level. Just try to get moderates to realize how insane these people are.

I'm just gonna wander out there, hangout for a little while, and if an opportunity presents itself I'll take it otherwise I'm not about to risk losing my job and getting despised by my professors (some of whom I've already gotten in arguments with and who have plainly told me they're biased) over such an insignificant battle. Maybe if there was a reasonable chance of winning over voters, but if people are going it's because they're hardline.
