Lyin' Ted had a golden opportunity to prove himself to be the great "Constitutional Conservative" he claims to be if he were to denounce the Colorado "election" as soon as he could
But instead he showed that he's perfectly fine with bypassing the democratic process and denying the peoples' vote as long as it's in his favor
Up until then he had my support, but now I see the appeal for Trump: Trump will tear this corrupt system out from the roots up
Cruz isn't an "insurgent," he's part of the problem
>>

If Cruz and Kasich join up together, that would mean they're scared, not Trump.
Cruz always does this, he puts out a headline where he tries to authoritate "what is happening" so idiots will take it in because they're used to taking headlines as gospel.

While we're on the babby-tier insults, Cruz literally always looks halfway between pouting and crying.

Rules were made in August, Trump announced candidacy in June. Thats why there is controversy.

Should have upped and joined the Republican party of Colorado, then, and become involved in the voting at the precinct level should you wanted to have exercised your so-called "rights."

Your "rights" are the same as if you were to say you wanted to register a vote to any organization (company, club, neighborhood association) that you weren't previously participant of, meaning you'd have to first join to have one.

>I have the fucking right to vote in an election, and if I don't I'm not in America
Your inherent right to vote is as described in the constitution, and in state constitutions. And those don't talk about parties.

>they're cheating
No, you were just lazy, and Trump did not go into your state to organize you, to find out where you lived, and told you where to go in order to vote.

I pretty much stopped even voting for cuckservatives after I've read an unironic article about how social conservatism leads to monetary conservatism, and how great a test it would be to just gauge fiscal conservatives from their stance on social issues. It was a serious publication too.

The only thing they failed to mention was that Joseph Stalin and Mao Zhedong were both extreme social conservatives.

After that I realized that any hope is lost on these people.
>>
>>72059996

Wrong.

Our current primary process heavily skews the opionions of backwater evangelical retard states by having almost all of them vote early in the primary cycle. This gives them an ability to force the conversation in the direction they approve as people typically don't want to lose a bunch of States before they start winning.

If the first few states in the primary cycle where New York, Florida, Texas, California, and Ohio you would never hear from the evangelical base again.

The only reason that you think they are big, the only reason that they vote early, is because they are given preferential treatment in the primary process.

If the GOP legitimately wants to move forward and become a better party it needs to start by reshaping its primary cycle to minimize the effect of these backwater states.

>It cheating not against just Trump but to every candidate in those elections
It was cheating to nobody. Any candidate could have gone and spent some time in the state to identify supporters and bring them to the precinct elections where delegates to higher conventions would move on to. Candidates such as Cruz with the grassroots on their side have a bit of an edge, in that their supporters come to the candidate to volunteer their labor (phone banking, precinct walking), but aren't these the campaigns that should go forward?

Trump has all the money in the world, so it certainly was within his capabilities to better compete than (say) a Bobby Jindal--to compete in Colorado effectively would have meant that a guy like Trump would've made the decision to invest in the basics (headquarters, state & local coordinators) around the time Jindal was dropping from the race, with the realization that he couldn't afford to do such legwork. Trump stayed in the race then, had the money to have competed with seriousness, but didn't.

It's more cost effective to not compete, lie about how you were cheated, turn voters you say you're going to unify against the party, all so that you can live by the manufactured narrative that you're the "real outsider," perhaps?

Very unprofessional of them, considering they need to rely on actual voters in the general election.

You're clearly not an American, then, and are using a proxy. For American's inherently understand by rote teaching methods and long exposure to our very way of life that people win by obtaining majorities in systems that are governed by majority rule.

>>
>>72063020

Potentially.

I just see it as a feedback loop, their votes matter more because they are early therefore they vote more frequently.

I mean imagine a situation where before every meal you ask the same 100 people in the same sequential order which 15 things they wanted to eat and you got to go first along with everyone who would agree with you. You might not get your way but you can bet that by the end of it one of your picks is still in contention. Of course you would vote every time.

This is how I see the Evangelical vote thing.

I could be wrong though, who knows.

They way I see it is to not attempt to disenfranchise a reliable voting base, but work with them instead, understanding that Republicans have the potential to be a majority ruling party with them as allies, a thing you'd need if you wish for Republican governance to be more than simple stewardship of progressive governing philosophies.

You never see lefties sit around plotting how they can kneecap the support of blacks or other minorities who vote them into office.

It didn't hurt to have them for any of the GE elections Republican have won, and certainly not to take both houses of congress. Come August and you'll see even the Democrat nominee currying favor with religious voters.

It's not the handicap as the narrative goes, because the narrative is one being pushed by the political opposition. Secularism is their agenda, for any institution that doesn't inspire more people to be reliant on government---source of power for the leftist---is a thing to oppose.
