denmark has a mixed market economy and a capitalist system
the tax decentivizes economic growth and while free education and healthcare is widely appreciated, lots of other social and cultural programs, which are essentially a waste of money, are also government/tax funded
besides, it's not the model/system that has made denmark prosperous. it's the fact that we have historically been a very homogenous people which has increased trust between individuals

Canada is a good example of a socialist country brought to its knees by itinerant shitskins, who suck up all of our welfare, defraud our insurance companies, overpopulate our hospitals and classrooms, and backlog our courts. My mother was in insurance, and my father's a prosecutor, and over and over again I hear stories about the vast amount of Southeast Asians and blacks fucking up the system.
There have been many homogeneous societies in history where socialism didn't work. Look at Germany for example.

Hospitals: Not just free, you dont die of anxiety worrying about the bills.
