'Undertale' is quite poor, even by Indie standards. The Story is meh, the writing is highschool-tier, the jokes are preschool-tier, the spritework is ugly, the backgrounds are mediocre, the maps are slapdick, the puzzles are slapdick-er, and the battle system is one part Twinbee, one part Mario Golf slider. Undertale's only redeeming quality is its music...which is the only reason why this game has sold as well as it has, seeing as how Toby Fox already had a quite substantial built-in fanbase who recognized and enjoyed his songs 'Homestuck'.
