the US as a whole won't continue to exist as it does today. while it's true that 43% would be white, pretty much all of those whites are concentrated in just a few states. white flight always occurs when neighbourhoods become too non-white. it's not like every state would be 43% white, instead you would have 90% white states and states that are almost entirely non-white.

A lot of people in this thread are mentioning Trump as the one chance the US has to avoid this scenario, but frankly, I feel like even a wildly successful Trump presidency is still just a band-aid on a wound gushing blood.
At the end of the day, all Trump is able to do is go after the low-hanging fruit: illegal immigrants. That still leaves a substantial population of blacks ruining our country, and a few Hispanics that will, over time, replenish their population by means of their typical mass breeding. Nobody will ever actually go after the issue of race.
Beyond that, I can't imagine Trump is going to be able to find any cooperation in Congress or elsewhere with his policies. Every single one of them despise the man with every fiber of their being. Again, even if he is wildly successful, his presidency is only going to be a maximum of 8 years.
