The PPACA, and even just the talk leading up to it, caused the increase in health insurance costs to become manageable. For the first time in decades, health insurance was no-longer skyrocketing up, each year.
Republicans like say "but it still went up, so it didn't work!" Of course it went up--it will always go up. But the rate is what matters, and just look at that shit.
