Let me tell you a little story about the Tamil protests that happened in Toronto a few years back. The Tamil population was very upset that the canadian government wouldn't send military aid to win their civil war for them, so they decided to set up protests in the city. One of said protests, involved dropping children onto the Gardener express way, a highway which is typically very busy and at the time was also quite fast, in order to shut traffic down. They were dropping four-eight year old children in front of 100-130 km/h moving vehicles. None of these people were tried for attempted murder, or had their children taken away from them.
