>Boris Johnson, who once wrote and spoke eloquently in favour of Turkish membership of the EU, said only three years ago: ‘I’m probably about the only politician I know of who is actually willing to stand up and say that he’s pro-immigration.’

>He has also called for an amnesty for illegal immigrants.

>This raises the question of whether a Britain outside the EU, perhaps even hungrier than now for cheap labour to sustain its economic growth, would be any more willing or able to introduce real limits on immigration than it is now.

Pic related is part of an official leave campaign leaflet

Capitalism is the enemy of nationalism it's obvious.

Here's an extract from the ft article because it's behind a Paywall/survey wall

>Vote Leave is hoping to secure the backing of British Asians by telling them that if Britain quits the EU, it will mean more immigration from elsewhere in the world.

>The official Out campaign is drawing up leaflets aimed at Punjabi, Hindi and Urdu speakers arguing that a British exit from the EU would help to stem the flow of Eastern Europeans into the UK — allowing more incomers from Commonwealth countries to take their place.

>Saqib Bhatti, a board member for Vote Leave, said English-language leaflets had been sent out to Muslim voters, while others in different languages were set to follow. The pamphlets argue that people with EU passports can just “walk in” to Britain.

>“South Asian immigrants have ancestors who fought in the world wars, they sacrificed a lot, they speak the language, they have the skills, they are well educated,” said Mr Bhatti. “But they find it hard to come in compared to other individuals from Europe who may not speak the language, understand the culture or have the skills.”

>The leaflets also emphasise the increasingly far-right tinge to politics in Slovakia, Hungary, Austria, Germany and Denmark. “We don’t want them influencing our laws and our policies,” said Mr Bhatti. He also said a leaflet from the rival Conservative In campaign promised to stop non-EU families from coming to Britain.

It's becoming cult like at this point

>vote leave and hold your own government to account on immigration issues
OR
>stay in EU and have your immigration controlled by beaurocratic globalist fuckwits

How are those Sharia law zones you got under the EU doing? Still filled with Muslims? Even though it's easier for an unskilled Polish worker to go there?

The leave campaign is not monolithic

The brexit campaign is literally globalism on steroids

Even listen to farage or many other ukip representatives and brexit speakers talk and they will always mentioned how they want free trade with as many countries as possible or just getting rid of tariffs completely even though this will just end up with jobs going overseas

One thing nigel as been consistent on is wanting an 'engineer from India' rather than a European

People seemed to have got it twisted and confused what could happen in some idealised brexit scenario with the hard reality that most in favour of leave are libertarian atlanticists not real Conservatives

They are official leave campaign leaflets and it's a quote from the leader of the official leave campaign - the man who will almost certainly be next prime minister if we leavw the eu
>>
>>74744525
That's a good argument though. I'd rather have a skilled Indian here than a low IQ Polish peasant.

Because ease of eastern European immigration has only been a thing since 2004 with Romania and Bulgaria only getting working rights in the UK in 2014

Tony Blair and his new labour government were the ones who put immigration on steroids and did a lot of that in the years 1997-2003

We currently have very tight controls on outside of the eu migration and yet all this "unskilled" European migration everyone complains about is more profitable
